Mark it's always a pleasure. Even when struggling you bring a genuine, positive presence... something we all need. Keep up the great work my friend, enjoying it!
My trapping was also slow !!!!! I ran 3 sets for 9 0r 10 nights, caught one racoon 2nd to last night and a Bobcat on the last night !!!!!! My first bobcat ever !!!!!! No season in Ohio so had to turn it loose but I got some good pictures and memories !!!!!!! Good luck and thanks for sharing !!!!!!!
You know I will! Shifting gears today and have a long weekend over Thanksgiving! Going to put the metal in the ground and give it my best effort! Thank you very much for all your support my friend!!
We all know the struggles. Keep after it, they will show up. I have had two ring outs, so I get frustration for sure. That raccoon was certainly a good one. Keep bringing that PASSION!
The frustration is real, I’m sorry to see your having the same type of problems I am. Keep on pushing and hopefully things will click and start picking back up, thanks for sharing brother
Congrats on the catches, Mark. I tell my kids all of the time, "If it was easy, everybody would do it." Keep up the good work. Have a blessed Thanksgiving.
Coon Creek Trappers in Northwestern Pennsylvania has made a trap puller like that for several years. If you step on down on the opposite side your pulling you can gain extra leverage making it even easier.
Good video brother. We had drought conditions here all year. Trapping season. Starts been nothing but rain snow and mud lol. Keep positive it will happen
Love the videos buddy! Those pullers are badass. Been helping my buddy who owns cooncreektrappers here in pa weld them bad boys up! Keep up the work and payday is just around the corner brother!
It's slow in Texas , two checks and only one skunk. I have camera's on some of my sets, the critters walk right by and never check it out. Oh well it going to get better. Good luck my friend!
It gets old to keep having empty sets as a trapper brother, but remember one thing…. You are a damn good trapper, you have not forgotten how to trap…. It’s the animals and the weather that play a ton into them moving or not….. Keep at it Mark, things WILL turn around for ya!
Good luck on the rest of the season Mark. That was one nice coin though. Hope the beavers come back and I just have the feeling of a cat coming soon. Fingers crossed anyways.
Hey Mark! I was gonna text you and ask how your line is. Now I can see. Keep your chin up brother. I had almost a week of empty traps. Yes very discouraging.
I pulled everything and moved to a new spot! It's going to get cold so we will see how they move! Thank you very much for watching and all your support brother!
Kind of not the start you were hoping for. Do your traps have to be pulled for shotgun season? Is that a regulation or just pulling so hunters do not trip them?
No I don't have to pull for deer season but don't like trapping while my friends are trying to get a deer! Thank you very much for watching and supporting my friend!
I had a beaver spot that caught nothing at, but also no recent sign there, just 2 dams some space apart like 2 colonies. I set for otter anyway, couldn't catch one of those either! An otter came out a hole I made in the ice LOL, should have put a 220 over the hole! I think someone had been in there shooting them for fun, which is 100% illegal here, you cannot hunt beavers here, only trap, and was done before the season even came in. Wish the wardens would go after people like that instead of harassing me on my line 1 time and this other trapper I knew in that area who also wasn't doing anything wrong. I also had a couple fox seasons that were horrible. I think I caught only 7 one year with a line I usually caught 30 to 40. And half had mange. Then another season it was the opposite, 34 fox 2 locations about 2 miles as the crow flies apart. Plus catching a bunch at other locations.
Wow, you’ve really been putting in the work! 🦝🐾 It’s impressive to see your dedication, even when the struggle is real. Those catches are incredible, and your skills are on full display. Thanks for sharing this fascinating glimpse into the world of trapping-keep up the great work! 👏🔥
