Hello Brother, I agree, bedding that trap solid is about the most important thing. I don't foothold Coyotes much anymore, but that was how I mainly used to catch them years back, before I started snaring. That aggressive dawg was a nice looking critter. I'm glad you're catching some! Happy new year, Mark
Hello 👋 Mark, congratulations on catches. That’s a great tip about the natural scent being the best lure. I have a problem with coyotes here in western Tennessee. I’m trying to raise livestock for personal food. I can’t afford to lose any of my animals because of coyotes. I’ve hunted all of my life, but I draw the line at expensive equipment. It’s legal to hunt coyotes with thermal on a shotgun, but in respect to the neighbors, I would prefer not to be shooting at all hours of the night. Have a wonderful New Year 🎉🎊🎆may next year bless you with a great year of fruitfulness.👍💪🙌🙏🌈✌️
Great Catches, Brother. That first yote looked like a bomb 💣 went off. And to catch a big yote in the Remake to boot. I agree with remake sets and a great tip on a solid bed trap. Keep SHARING your PASSION
Brother!! Great job staying consistent and working those farms, you got some great success! My boys and I have been watching all your videos, they enjoy them as well, keep it up!
That really makes me happy to hear you all enjoy the videos! I sure do appreciate you watching and all your support my friends! I hope you have a very Happy New Year!
@MarkJLarsonOutdoors I clamped on to coyotes few years back and trap being set hard with no movement is the thing. My best year I used all dirt holes with diced deer liver down hole. Also when using a stick to push bait you better not throw it aside afterwards. The biggest thing is in many cases you have to be devoted to checking traps everyday lots of times. Not as bad with like 330s to say on like beaver. What I ran into when snaring beavers on land or levees is if you don't check it fast enough coyotes will beat you.
It's just been a fun year so far! I really enjoy being back after the coyotes and looking forward to beaver trapping later! Thank you very much for watching and all your support my friend!! Good luck with everything!
You are correct on bedding that trap. Lure and or bait is mostly made to trap trappers. Just about any fresh or well fermented not rotten meat based bait will attract a yote.
Definitely! I use to practice bedding traps in the summer till I got it down perfect! That's how important I feel it is! Thank you very much for watching and all your support my friend!!
Uck snow! They're saying we could get some Sunday. Glad you got some catches. That one coyote is pretty big. I mean I'd be mean too if I was caught in a trap lol. I'm actually surprised the first one wasn't more mad. He seemed awfully chill for being caught. Good day of trapping.
It was a really nice coyote! I could sleep better if I didn't have anything set lol! I can't wait to check everyday! Thank you very much for watching and all your support brother! I sure do appreciate ya!
Hope you had a Wonderful Christmas! And will have a Blessed New Year!. Was gonna ask if the animals you trap are always as calm as they seem...until the one showed it's teeth.
I'm with ya on remakes. The scent that's there, the eye appeal, and the feeling of having caught something there makes it that much better. Plus if the set's good for one it's good for more. Get on that cat Mark!!!
Congrats. Caught my first coyote last night, took it to Sleepy Creek Tannery today. Was getting frustrated but so worth it when cell camera went off last night. Good luck, keep the vids coming.
Congrats Mark 👏 👏 👏
Great to see you catching some dawgs. Keep it rolling!

Mating season right around the corner and coyote and cats seem to pick up

I think you need more variety in your sets. Try some hay sets, pipe dream sets. In the 80's we hosed sets with red fox urine with good results.
Ya I do a few different sets but haven't been having much luck with the hay sets! Thank you very much for watching and supporting my friend!
