BMW 325i Touring E30 and Alpina C2 2.7 E30 the rare 80s station wagons in Hong Kong

- The BMW 325i Touring E30 was born in the 1980s. At that time, the Hong Kong car market did not pay much attention to station wagons (Touring, Station Wagon or Wagon), because consumers did not have a strong preference for station wagons. Now, even the new generation of M3 Touring can be officially launched in Hong Kong, which is really a different time. In fact, the BMW 3 Series, numbered E30, was popular in Hong Kong back then as a four-door sedan, convertible and Coupe, and the price was not cheap at all. On the other hand, the E30 Touring station wagon is really rare. Another rarer one in the film is the Alpina C2 2.7 E30 station wagon. Both Lung Sir and Edmond Lau said that Alpina has never been officially launched in Hong Kong, and most car fans know about Alpina from media reports, but rarely see the real car. This time I was able to try the Alpina C2 2.7 E30 (also known as BMW Alpina C2 2.7) produced in the late 1980s in Hong Kong. It was purely by chance. The Rev Channel came across this car when it was filming in Tai Mo Shan. Edmond saw that the owner of the car was very young. Out of curiosity, he took the initiative to chat and offered to take a photo, and the owner agreed immediately. Even though Lung Sir and Edmond Lau are relatively familiar with cars, it is the first time they have come into contact with the performance of Alpina cars. Alpina has upgraded BMW's 2,500cc six-cylinder engine to 2,700cc, plus chassis tuning, which is the only one in the world What is the difference between the hundreds of C2 2.7 Touring and the original BMW 325i Touring? 香港人，九十年代經濟起飛，潮流係講嘆講靚講豪華，wagon或touring ，得啲識用手做嘢嘅人，有手藝，小生意，週末去camp，平日Diy，或做工程，送貨嘅人，今日呢班人都五十歲啦！
細細個印象第一部旅行車就係Volvo 850 T5R Estate😊
今時今日德國車，已經不可能有當年嘅心思。車廠技術成熟，但係一切都係節省成本主導，大部份人都只求新款。引擎明顯不及廿幾年前耐用，技術水平足以管控壽命。錶板變芒疑似更豪更高級，事實真係慳唔少生產成本。電軚、電油門又係慳皮之作，識車嘅人都唔會欣賞，反而懷念舊車軚感、人車直接溝通。話就話世界大潮流，但係⋯😢

The first touring / wagon car that was cool for me, was the Audi RS2 Avant. A joint-venture project by Audi and Porsche, it is very clear from the start what they were aiming for.
有時候老車嘅味道就在於此，可能有人唔明，洗咁多錢翻新不如買部F30好過。但玩舊車，有小小缺陷，有小小挑戰，當你可以駕輕就熟果種滿足感係難以比疑的
同意，即使未必有機會擁有呢d經典車，但睇片已經係一種美好回憶😍😍😍
我對旅行車係飛得嘅印象係來自細個玩GT時候見到嘅Impreza WRX STi GF8, 通常有GC8同GF8揀我都係會揀GF8。
2.7個部我係荃灣見過..第一眼睇…未見過咁樣既寶馬….😮！但係側鏡向後睇佢車頭，真係好靚！多謝車主借出！👍🏻
旅行車代表一定係volvo 850，但近代造得最靚就覺得係Audi A6
無錯，當年富豪850出現，真係令我對旅行車完全改觀，唔再好似Edmond兄咁講，係一部棺材車❤❤❤

旅行車最有印象係Subaru Leagcy GT-B🥰
買過部E30 320i, 香島道幾乎掉咗頭，好在當年條街車少先執翻身彩。個車尾非常tail happy, 經常都甩，嗰個semi-trailing arm真係好唔掂，不過適應左就係樂趣所在，個頭真係冇推過，等我以為FR唔會推頭，後尾換其他車先知係錯嘅。當年我部自動波連風油軚，棍波係冇嘅，試過部325棍，非常之重，但回軚力漸進同強勁，比較最近試部i4, 頭三十度角完全唔識回軚實在天與地嘅分別。當寶馬仍然係Ultimate Driving Machine時係最好嘅年代。
歐洲旅行車代表一定係初代嘅Audi RS6 Avant,亞洲代表當然係Subaru Legacy Sports Tourer 3.0R Spec B😊
當年 Audi RS 2 Avant & Volvo 740 Turbo Wagon 開始旅行車熱潮
90年代我在堅道返工，日日都見到位外藉女仕揸呢架旅行車，殘殘地咁
有幸喺96年借朋友部325i E30揸過，真係好好操控，令人回味
睇兩位試車真係好多嘢學到，今日好飽，好滿足。

紅色奔放點, 藍色莊重點, 兩台都很棒 !
特別是 ALPINA 這台的顏色, 沒認錯的話應該是 "Macau Blue", 直視下是藍色, 但偏一點角度去看, 又帶點紫色, 非常美
對 Alpina 印象好似 RUF 咁，就係原廠 BMW 或者 Porsche 再強化。兩款車真人都未見過，無緣分。
E30真係好正，仲有希望可以見到你哋試E34

Alpina 嘅調較同M 行兩個相反方向。一個行賽道，一個針對autobahn舒適。雖然底擔零件無任何特別，但共通點係遊刃有餘，低扭強橫。

小學時仁孚維修部喺學校附近，當年就用這部車做佢哋嘅工程，好有型。
現時自己都擁有部HONDA Airwave 作為工作嘅拍檔😊
令人開始改觀應該係SUBARU LEGACY旅行車，慼覺開始年輕化和有個性
I'd say the first estate / wagon that captured my attention would've been the Volvo 850, the shape was so much nicer than the equivalent 850 sedan, and they went completely mental and decided to use them to compete in the BTCC!!! I've never fancied a wagon so much. Obviously the Audi RS2 was also a landmark car in that regards, the subtle hint of Porsche add-ons were just prefect, the mirrors, the wheels, brakes, front indicators, etc but the 850 was far more accessible to the masses.
You forgot the 333i which is rarer than the M3, only sold in South Africa, used a 3.3L inline six from the E23 7 series.
我當年買第一架新寶馬就係1988 E30 325i 四門房車，棍波。依家睇返仲好靚，我記得關門聲好結實，開關車頭Hood 亦好有特色。

現代m車適合落場跑多啲。畀同一個價，日日揸嘅話，alpina 用料高級啲同埋tuning 適合daily driving
见过几部alpina 8系。 近代alpina定位一直都是发动机性能高于bmw340 接近m系列， 但是底盘设定更偏街道的巡航车。 F系列m car底盘讲真真是好harsh。外国好多中年人士无赛道需求aplina会是一个好选择因为跑街跑山alpina 跟适用。 记得早期alpina 出个d diesel高性能3系真是 perfect daily car。 有3-4百匹马力700几nm 最抵死是油耗劲低。
