    Nice looking straps! 👌 My only gripe with quick release springbars is, that lug holes come at different sizes, and you can do damage to your watches if you use wrong size bars... Also usually the quick release spring bars are usually quite thin, so it's hard to change them to a thicker bars.. thanks for the video!

      Can you not remove the quick release and use a standard spring bar ?

      @@mracekproductions You can quite easily.

      @@mracekproductions i've done that, but in that case it was so, that the watch used a bit thicker bars, that wouldn't fit to the strap 😅 but yes, you can 😁

    Nice strap inspo for my SBGR001 (very similar dial and case shape, but 9S55 and a silver seconds hand)!

    Wonderful and very professional intro my friend... really good :))
    Damn, that GS would look good with bacon strapped to it, I don't think there's a strap that can ruin it LML :-P
    It's funny how leather straps always smell amazing, yet a cow always smells like poop LML :-P
    Great content, and any excuse to see that GS of yours :)) 43rd thumbs from me, almost my age.... backwards LML :-P (3yrs 5months)

    Bob, l visited their website to take a look. It's disappointing. There's no indication of strap thickness and choice of buckles. Also, the price of some are too high, e.g., Epsom at $80. I bought those straps from others at $20. Mostly l use straps from Hirsh, Rios, and, Morellato. Wonder how is their Shell Cordovan compared to Rios, as their prices are a lot higher. Also, how is it compared to Hirsh Siena Artisan and Siena Tuscan with comparable prices. Btw, l use the Tuscan on the same GS as yours. I like 20/16 leather straps. Good quality mid tiers ones, like l mentioned, for dress or casual watches are hard to find.

      I think for the most part they come with only one buckle option from what I see on the site. I'm not sure on the pricing of all the types of leather, some I have experience with seemed fair. I've looked into Epsom straps before and most seemed to be in to $100 or so range. Could be shopping in the wrong places though.

      I bought Epsom and Horween from Nomad Watch Works based in Singapore. Being a regular, l get 15% off. Prices has gone up slightly since the last l bought, but, still very cheap compared to delug.

      What's the thickness of babelle?

    • @canonyeo4286
      @canonyeo4286 3 года назад +2

      My Epsom straps are 3mm tks, so, not as soft as yours. Perhaps, yours is better quality. I only use 2mm strap for very thin watches. For the GS, the Tuscan strap l use is 4mm at the lug and taper to 2.5mm. It hold the watch on the wrist just right.
