I bought mine last year. Put it on my patio during the summer and it did make a big difference during the hot weather season. the misters put out quite a bit of water (even on low setting), so you have to position it strategically, otherwise you drench furniture, people, dogs, food, etc. The bucket set up is pretty cool (no pun intended) and convenient. You can go most of the afternoon without running out of water (on low mist setting).
Looks very... MOIST. 👍💧☔
It's WAY more than moist. It's saturating and it makes it impossible to cool off. Idk about this particular unit but EVAP cooling is a myth
just bought me two of these bad boys for 100 bucks and a whole bunch of 4 ah batteries for buy 2 and get 2 free for 100 bucks each set at Home Depot. Sooo for 300 bucks I got 8 4ah batteries, two chargers and 2 of the fans . What a deal for my camping trips this and many more summers to come. Thanks for the great video. Keep cool.
I have the old one that is not a RYE-OBI, but it takes a RYE-OBI battery. When my daughter was in elementary school i would bring it to her field day and all the kids loved it.
I really like that fan, especially the mist feature. I don't think I will mind a little bit of mingling with my Milwaukee club😉
I’m a fan of that fan 😂
Spring in OH looks great! I have several of the earlier version. Only problem is you can't use it with misting inside or on a porch - there will be a build-up of water in front of the fan. I have even added an in-line reducer, and you still get a puddle forming in front of the fan eventually. Out in the open or hot sun, it's great, though.
@0:33 "Even if you're not in the Ryobi platform it's always good to have one or two battrays because they come up with some really cool things like this."
That's a roundabout way to say everyone should be in the Ryobi 18V platform. I agree. That doesn't mean you need to use them for your primary core tools, but they make so many useful unique items and do well in quality for $ that most would benefit from being in the platform
The ryobi range is unbeatable for home and lifestyle stuff. For me, ryobi at home, milwaukee at work.
Damn, why can't Ryobi just win?!! Why can't they be used for work???!!
@mario Honestly for most people they would last long enough to make them worthwhile. I guess people don't want to be sneered at...The reason I run mileaukee is because I use m12 tools, which are roughly half the weight and size when you factor in tool and battery. Which means I can fit 10 tools and a handful of battrays into my two smallish carry bags.
I've used the blue and white version from ArcticCove (another TTI brand, same batteries) for at least 5 yrs. Mist is nice working on a hot roof in the sun. Mostly I just use as a fan with the mist pump turned off. It was super cheap when I bought it - home depot was blowing them out..
Should have tested in colder temps, see how it is at making snow
Got this for my camping trips it’s super quiet. I pretty much had it running the whole day on a 4ah battery
Got real misty about this. Blew me away. I moist get one of these for the summer
🤣🤣👊
*_Ree-O-bee has a new Vacuum for that Link system your resting on.... you should test that for the "TOOLIE" community!_*
Haven't seen it 🤷
Due respect, it's "Toole" 😂
Cool fan, no pun intended. Nice and portable for watching foreworks here in texas . Sitting on the deck chilling with an adult beverage. Seen the fan before but didn't give it a second look. Glad you did the video. Now i am MIST OFF that i haven't picked one up.
Hahaha, come on John!!!! Those puns were definitely intended 🤣🤣👊👊👊 appreciate the comment brother 👊
So, OnlyFans - Mist Edition now???
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👊
I have this same fan and I love it but the icky problem is that eventually the brass misters clog up and you have to replace them
I was born and raised in the hot desert sun and didn't find out about AC until I was a teenager. We had swamp coolers. Evaporative cooling of this sort is a complete myth. These types of things have fallen completely out of favor and you can't buy a swamp cooler around here anymore. They prevent your body from being able to evaporate it's own sweat making you hotter and hotter until you actually boil your own skin off. I had a mild heat stroke type event due to this phenomenon. I like Ryobi not Ryobi stuff and this is cool, on paper, but it would probably kill me. The most would have to be intermittent and the fan would have to be 20 times larger. Think portacool with reduced water flow and increased airflow
Ima toss some ice in the bucket 🪣
Yo Clint! That thing is real nass like! Whisper Series as well? Freakin awesome! Seems like you might need some pepper spray in that bucket and aim it towards any stalkers though. 🤔 As far as any haters in comments saying "this won't work," bro, lemme tell ya. Here, in Florida, where humidity gets 100% on a regular basis, that mist is a LIFE SAVER! Fact. 😎🎸👍
I'd throw some ice I'm there for sure brother. I love theb pepper spray idea though 🤣🤣🤣👊
Awesome fan!
Ryobi made WiFi garage door opener’s to until they lost a patent infringement lawsuit. They left all the Ryobi garage door opener owners with a phone app that never gets updated and leaves us with a useless opener.
Do what I did, run it over with a UTV 👊
Yesterday I was at my granddaughter softball game held at FOLSOM CITY CA TEMP WAS 100 degrees
Dammit man, now I have yet another Ryobi tool to hit up Home Depot for! That would be ideal for working in my garage during those hot coastal NC summers....
I love the comedy bit! It was real nass like.
Haha, thanks Dan 👊🤣
Hey bro anyone ever tell you that you have the voice of an Angel I love this fan comes with a suction microphone 😂 it's real NAS like. "Hey I just wanted to take another look at ya" lmfao😅
Hahahaha, I've heard that before Elegance 🤣🤣🤣👊
Take my money now.! This will be my first Ryobi! From a dewalt and Milwaukee fan. I might just need to spray it to yellow
Lol let me know how you like it brother 👊👊👊
wow. what. it is available. bought.
Let me know how you like it Louis 👊👊👊
@@ToolReviewZone will do in 5 days. and NY needs to be a bit warmer….lol
I am not in the Ryerobi platform but that may be a good thing for an Arizona evening.
That thing would be great to take camping or use on the porch of an RV
Heck yeah 👊👊👊
I’m getting one👍🔧
Let me know how you like it 👊
I love mine the only thing they should have made it attach to bucket
Make a block of ice for the bucket .. I won’t need it for 2 months.. was 5 F here this morning.
That looks very enticing for summer, I'm just saying 💯👍😎
Clint how does it feel to have a fan to come by admiring you singing in the mist of your career? You should feel fantastic😊😊. Thanks for the infanmoration, gonna get me one before they’re fanned out at HD because that wouldn’t be Nasslike 🙂🙂
One man had two one for the girls in the dugout the other for him nice I’m looking for one before I go camping
It's BACK! I haven't been able to find one of these in awhile so this is NASS LIKE NEWS
I have that fan can i modified a extention cord to it ?
I need this to be direct plug in
Id like for them to start making the normal fans compatible with the mowers again 😂, so I can get a mow with the fan cooling me off
Waiting for a 80v 30in review. Been mowing my yard with a push 40v for years
That’s real nice like
After watching this video the wife told me to buy the 2 pack. So I did.
Thanks
Let me know how you like them brother, just watch out for the creepy dudes when you are in slow motion mode 👊
@@ToolReviewZone I will add a comment here after I have had a chance to use it. Supposed to arrive April 4th.
That was real nass like, so I gave the `like` button a smeesh!!
Thanks for the SMEEESH Andrew!!!
I have the older version and love it. Great video thanks 👍🏻
This one was real NASS' like! :^D
For a minute I thought maybe Vance was stalking you.
He is too I'm sure 😪
That’s definitely real nass like, I would put some ice in the bucket with the water.
Smeeesh that like button. 👀👉🏼 👍🏽
Damn right brother, and thanks for the SMEEESH Jason!!!!
Cool
Buy these while they're available. It gets a little frustrating getting berated year after year when it's out of stock in the dog days of summer.
Got a serious question. Say I'm having a wet t shirt contest in my backyard this summer, how long will the 1.5ah batt ray last on high? I'd hate for the entertainment to end too soon, ya know.
These are questions that the people definitely deserve to know. Probably 2- 1/2 hours on high 🤣
@@ToolReviewZone You da man, Clint. The "puppies" and I appreciate you!
LMMFIAO, I'm dead.
🤣😂🤣😂🤣
🤣🤣🤣👊
I might be on a picket line in August. Imma pick one up and put ice water in the bucket!
Whaaaaa???
This may dethrone my DeWalt fan that I take everywhere in the summertime.
Meeting halls may also be getting wet...
If you live in a cold climate, and it freezes its garbage.
😂 Good video!
Ridgid needs to make this with an LSA.
0:35 facts!
I thought the guy in the car was going to be that nut job Vance.
I have the basic ryobi fan without the mister. What it does have is the ability to just plug a regular 120v cord into it. Do these mister type fans have that capacity?
I have one and it doesn’t wished it did
Your video production has really gotten real nass like. Try a blue screen.
Thanks John 👊👊👊
Come on, it is just a RY o bi fan. I will buy one if it can blow me away. 😂
Is it new? I got one similar model more than a year ago.
Mistifying!
You a GQ model? Wait does GQ still exist?
I'm bringing GQ back brother 😎
😂😂😂
😳😳😳😳😳
Screw Ryobi...and their cheap plastic products ...lol
… 🫣… 🥸… who was dat guy?🥴 Stay safe my friend. And keep your fan in your safe. 🤣😂🤣😂
I bought this one and the cobalt The cobalt was more powerful
Lmaoo
At least this video doesn't have any CGI or green screening like that Harbor Freight one. No sirree. ⸮ ⸮
