Hi! Have you tried the line pour technique? I got in a bit of a hurry during the pour and didn't really stick to my plan of gradually increasing the amount of orange soap. I actually just completely forgot about my plan as soon as I started the pour. 😂 I may try this technique again using more colors and leaving off the gradient. I hope you're all doing well! Thanks so much for watching! -Holly :)
I accidentally did a technique just like this some time ago. If you add a bit of soap after each pass before adding the strip for the “line” on top of the batter it has a pretty great outcome.
My son and I watched your video this morning. He said, whoa quit a few times and said, I like that soap a lot. It looks like Jupiter. Well done on another beautiful soap. 🧡🤍
Thank you for making that point about melting the cocoa butter first because it has the highest melting point *and then* adding the other hard oils to it to melt! I see other soapers on youtube meltng the coconut oil first and then stirring in cocoa butter and re-microwaving when it doesn't melt completely, and it always confuses me why people don't think to melt the hard oil with the highest melting point first.
Hello Holly. I have this technique on my to practice list, those like yourself produce such beautiful soaps and by doing so encourage people like myself to perfect our skill and try new methods. Your expertise, honesty and education is very much appreciated Thank you Holly. I love Yvonne Oh like you so peaceful to watch and great education provided in her videos too.
I love the way you work, so smoothly and calmly...I always was rushing coz the trace thicken so fast...thank you for sharing your videos, you are my favorite soap-maker, greetings from Argentina
ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!! And the scent must be out of this world. I love orange and cedar wood both but the addition of patchouli makes me tingle 😂😂😂 so great!!!
Hello Holly, I love your videos. Thank you so much for your sharing and your video. This is very calm, and helpful, peaceful and wonderful. I tried it yesterday and i wait for opening and cutting one day more. I can't wait. Thank you thank you. And hope you keep going well ! Best regards from France. Caroline
Beautiful! I’m going to try this technique with other clays I have on hand. I love watching your videos! You explain everything without making it complicated. Not to mention your voice is so soothing and really puts me at ease.
I've gotta be honest Holly, been relying on your channel more, and more, for design ideas. Keep em coming. And if I'm being perfectly honest, mine never come out as good as yours. Some close, but never better.
I get so much inspiration from your videos. I’m enjoying that you experiment with complex designs you but also make simple soaps with natural ingredients and techniques that are accessible by most
This is a very elegant soap, I need to try this technique and love the colours. Thank you so much for showing us the way with another beautiful video❤️🙏
Hey Holly! Gorgeous in its pure simplicity and color choice. Thank you so much for sharing this technique with us. Really beautiful. My blood pressure is always lower after watching one of your videos LOL! Can’t wait for the next one. -Momo
That turned out so pretty! I'm new to soap making and pretty much just pour down the long side because I'm paranoid of my mixtures thickening up. This one reminds me of the desert. Very pretty soap!
Hi Holly, I love watching your channel. This bar is so beautiful. Just when I think I have a favorite you come up with another one. I usually stick to making simple bars but I think I might try this one in the future.
This looks very nice Holly, turned out good 👍. I was wondering if you made another batch of indogo infusion with the same powder you used in your other fusion and if it came out good? I love your videos, so relaxing and informative and you're so graceful when you make soap 😊. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful work ❤ 💕 😊.
incredible Soaps as always and i love your editting. Cant wait to learn how to do all of that and get me the equipment as well, but i have to sell some product 1st.. lol
Soap turned out so beautifully! May I ask what does oven process do to the soap? And if I oven process do I still have to wait 4-6 weeks for the soap to be useable?
Hello Holly, thank you for sharing another beautiful recipe and technique! I tried finding your mini stick blender (the red one) on your Amazon shop but couldn’t find it, I only saw the small white Norpro one. Would you mind telling me where you got it from? Thank you very much. Cheers from Switzerland , Emilie
Thank you! Yes, I completely forgot to add the link to it. 🤦🏻♀️ I love that little blender since it doesn't require batteries. I heard about it from Lisa of I Dream in Soap and bought it on Amazon - it's called a "Milk Frother Handheld Electric Foam Maker." Here's a link in case you need it (it is an affiliate link): amzn.to/3kWK8hq
@@hollysoapmaking Thank you very much for having replied, I’m definitely going to check the mini blender out. I regularly use the little Norpro one, the same one you use in the video but the red one seems to have a much longer shaft. Have a great day :)
Thank you! Sure! Sweet Orange 6X - 56% Cedarwood - 34% Patchouli - 10% It's also listed below the video (way down in the description box) in case you need to find it again. 😊
I made the line pour for the first time and it came out great but, after an our in the over it got very hot. 140* and Not the first time either with other soaps. I take it out of the oven at that time and let It cool down to about 115* then place under a towel. Should I skip the oven and just put it under a towel? I want the colors to stay bright.

Hi Holly, when measuring essential oils for cp, do you use the total weight, or just the oil weight? I want to make a 32 ounce or 2 pound loaf. I hope you're having a nice day 💓.
Hi! I always use the oil weight of the recipe. Like for this one, my recipe oil weight was 1100 grams with an EO usage rate of 40 grams/kg. This gave me a total EO weight of 44 grams. Thanks for the great question! Hope you're doing well! 😊

Watch with my 5 year old son and he said "mommy her voice is beautiful." We also love the soap. Beautiful work.

Well done on another beautiful soap. 🧡🤍
Thank you and tell him I said thanks, as well! It reminds me of Jupiter, too. I'm a space geek, and it's my favorite planet. 😁
Oh my gosh! When you cut that and it looked like a sunset over an other worldy orange ocean LAWDY! My breath was taken away!

Absolutely stunning Holly!
Nice 😍🥰🥰🥰🥰
Dear Holly thank you for this beautiful video. May I ask why you process it in the oven if it is cold process? Is it to speed up the saponification?
Soap turned out so beautifully! May I ask what does oven process do to the soap? And if I oven process do I still have to wait 4-6 weeks for the soap to be useable?
Beautiful soap! I have a question, don you always put them in the over after done?
Você é a melhor.
May I ask what is that red small blender? I've been looking for something like it. Great design and video!

Holly, is this the same orange clay you used in your in the post swirl video in the acrylic mold?
Yes, it's the same - orange illite clay that I purchased from Symphony Scents.
Hello Holly, I love all your video and soap. I would like to know wich software you use to make your video before add on RUclips please :)
Thank you! I use Final Cut Pro.
O my God!!! How to get such smooth bar? Temperature? Someone can help me?
Beautiful ❤️. Could I ask the percentages of the amounts of your essential oil mix? Sounds like it will be a great blend. Thank you
Thank you! Sure!
Sweet Orange 6X - 56%
Cedarwood - 34%
Patchouli - 10%
It's also listed below the video (way down in the description box) in case you need to find it again. 😊
I need to try this technique but I’m sure mine won’t be as beautiful as yours! Do you find your soap from this recipe to be on the softer side?
How many % of hard oil n soft oil u use?
😍 lindo

Hello Holly! Can you give size of mold ?
Beautiful Holly! Do you use deodorized cocoa butter in your recipes?
Thank you! I normally use regular cocoa butter in soap. When I'm making my whipped body butter, I use the deodorized.
Holly, l know you hear this alot, but watching your videos are beyond inspirational, do you find that you're soaps always retain the essential oil aroma?
I am struggling to get it too hold, l am almost convinced there is a secret to it, that l haven't discovered? Please can you help
Super cute! I can't understand the cut for some reason. It's hard to know what you did
Hi Holly, when measuring essential oils for cp, do you use the total weight, or just the oil weight? I want to make a 32 ounce or 2 pound loaf. I hope you're having a nice day 💓.
Hi! I always use the oil weight of the recipe. Like for this one, my recipe oil weight was 1100 grams with an EO usage rate of 40 grams/kg. This gave me a total EO weight of 44 grams.
Thanks for the great question! Hope you're doing well! 😊
