I'm on .85 of this video but I love how you built up the bottom layer first. I have seen other soapers do the sides at the same time, as I have learned, and this is just going to look so cool, I can't wait to finish the video!
Hi from Florida! I know the boarder making was unfortunately lost… but this was a super helpful video!!! I totally understand how to do the feather swirl now! Thank you so much for sharing!💜😺
Thank you! It's nice to get positive feedback. For the colour schemes, i just google 'colour palette' and then pick and choose what appeals to me. Something you could look into as well =)
Really appreciate this video!! I have done a feather swirl but you showed me I need to add more soap color per line to get fuller "leaves". Thank you! I know it's more work to record!! ~jc
Really fantastic video! Thank you for the upload. I have one question about the quantity for the feathers. How do you know how much you need for them. I am trying to figure out myself how much but I just don’t get it. Stupid question, I’m sorry🫥
Sorry, missed out replying. There is not hard and fast rule as it depends multiple factors - dimensions of your mold, number of feathers you are trying to achieve. For mine, the feathers are about 35% of my total batter mix.
How did you manage to do that frame around the sliced square in a different colour? There wasn't any thing done for the frame in the process all along. The final outcome does not match with your work. Sorry
I pre-blend my TD: Oil 1:3 ratio. If your batter hardens up - it's more likely your oil blend doesnt stay fluid long enough. Try a light colour oil mix so that you can use less TD. That would probably help too.
thank you so much for making this video, I'm trying to learn this technique and it's been very helpful. Your work is beautiful!
Would have loved to have seen the finished product

You keep your TD in a squeeze container? What’s it mixed with, at what ratio, and how long does it last?
i was hoping to see you cut it up and how each piece looked, but great job!

Wow! How do you get the green square perimeter around the bar of soap? thank you
There's another video showing how i made the frame.
How did you manage to do that frame around the sliced square in a different colour? There wasn't any thing done for the frame in the process all along. The final outcome does not match with your work. Sorry
At12:55 she explains border is added once soap hardens
I’m curious how & what you mix your T.D. Could you share exact recipe for this please?. Mine hardens too quickly.
I pre-blend my TD: Oil 1:3 ratio. If your batter hardens up - it's more likely your oil blend doesnt stay fluid long enough.
Try a light colour oil mix so that you can use less TD. That would probably help too.
Thank you.
Hi, soaps are very elegant, I would to see when you cut them!
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Interesting. What does FO and TD mean? And, what was the rod at the end for?
FO - Fragrance Oil, TD - Titanium Dioxide
I know this is a stupid question but what is the stick you put in the pourer?
Hi Deborah, It's a glass rod - just helps to guide the flow of the fragrance oil so that it doens't spill down the side of the bottle
@@littlelambsoapworksNever a stupid question. That’ll solve my problem. Yaas! New subscriber. Oh and how did you get the green frame around your soap?
Please next time consider posting the link in the description to part 2 of any video in a series.
How to make the border of this soap?
Why do you have to pour it onto a spatula instead of just right in?
Pouring over the spatula helps minimise air being introduced into the batter.
Would have been nice to see the soap cutting! :(
Wish you showed the cutting.
Aap classes lete hai?
Yeah, I really wanted to watch someone pour and pour and pour and then never see it cut into.
Can you print the recipe for the soap thank you?
I am lost as a goose lol
