Shroob fight is required and forced(they do near 900 damage). its very easy and they only give 900 exp, no +1 level specifically before that fight. 6. Bowser is allowed to heal w/Vacuum on say Beehoss and Treevils, cuz Vacuum command is important, and same for Refreshrooms, as they're temporary giant battle items so they can be used. he still dies in 1-2 hits late-game. I can confirm Dark Star is the most difficult boss in DS BIS but am unsure about the remake: Dark Star, while normally easy cuz the game assumes you're using equips and stuff, actually is the hardest boss in the game by far. in fact I can confirm it is completely impossible to defeat Dark Star at level 22. the lowest level the bros would be at. there's several reasons. the 1st is that Dark Star outspeeds at level 22. because of that, when its made vulnerable, it will rise up on its turn immediately after the bros go during that cycle cuz its faster than them. the 2nd, the Dark Satellmites can heal it for over 120 hp by the 2nd-3rd cycle, much more than you deal even w/Excellent+POW badge(required). 3rd, the 4 color orb attack. if its "4 of the same color" and it specifically goes "Top to Bottom" you're screwed, as its near-impossible to avoid if you don't jump correctly by the 2nd orb. I found the reason for this is cuz Dark Star bats the 3rd and 4th orbs too fast to be jumped over. you jump the 3rd, but the 4th will always catch the bro right in their "hitbox" right as they jump. I can confirm this is true. I found and tested that this's most deff cuz its "Closer" to the screen as to why its not avoidable if you screw the 2nd jump up. Dark Star's deff the most aggressive boss in the game under such rules, in fact the only way you can actually beat it with such rules is at exactly level 35. at level 35 Mario, w/no speed upgrades(via level or equips), outspeeds it, so he gets 1 extra turn in its vulnerable cycle. combined with excellent+POW badge(this is required. I can confirm this.) this's legit the only way to beat the Dark Star. The remake's what I'm uncertain of, cuz I heard the 4 color orb attack from specifically "Top to Bottom" is thankfully nerfed, cuz DS BIS it was near-unavoidable for the reasons above, you had to be frame perfect by the 2nd orb there or you just die to it. but I'm happy to confirm its possible to beat BIS like this. it deff wasn't intended to at all but deff possible.🤲 the Excellent+Pow badge's deff required for the final 3 fights without a doubt. Partners in Time is really similar to this, but you only need the bros items the game gives you naturally(no buying bros items and no badges.)+can farm mrs Thwomp no problems. I can confirm Level 23 is the sweet-spot to beating PiT's Nerve Mode. You can deff beat it at the level of 19, which's where you'd be at, but its basically a TAS after Elder Princess Shroob's 1st phase cuz of 400 hp foot+damage being pathetic. so 23's the true level otherwise. 🤔

I'll confirm that Charge Gloves DX is actually a legal equip, cuz it doesn't boost stats. just speeds up the badge stock grind vs Hermite Crabs/Hermite Crab Rs(best way to grind). it only saves a few turns. Mammoshka and Wiggler are extremely inconsistent and have 0 tells. Mammoshka, its the chase attack cuz it has 0 warning of speeding up or slowing down ie little time to react. the boulder throw is also kinda bad cuz a bro can just get hit even if you timed it right. so badges+Bros attacks are allowed for it.
