Hi Angie, I’m new to sublimation but a long time quilter. Is there a difference between applying the spray to the sublimation print versus the blank? Thank you
Wow I didn't know I needed this till now, thank you! I didn't see a link for the cool acrylic tag, is it one that you cut yourself? Sublimation acrylic is so hard to find unless it's a Stanley cup topper.
I just bought the Scotch Spray Mount, but haven’t tried it yet. Wondering if I should return it. What was it in your testing that you didn’t like about it? TIA!
Thank you so much for this video. I had the same concern when Conde closed. Their spray was the best never had a clogged nozzle or spitting. I'm still hoping another company picks up that product and markets it as the previous DyeTrans spray.🤞
You are so informative and save us from sooo many problems! Thank you!
Happy to help!
I have been following you for several years. Love your videos!
Thank you!
Thank you. I always learn something new that makes a huge difference in my crafting
Happy to help!
Thank you, but why did it come out so dull
That was actually the back. I didn't flip it over. Those blanks show through to the front.
Great info! I didn’t know about this. I definitely could have used this on a mousepad that I did. Thanks!
Glad I could help!
Conde is back in business but adding products slowly
I do realize that however I will not be recommending them for some time as they are under new ownership.
Good information, thanks.
Thanks for watching!
Can you use the spray on painted wood blanks?
It should work fine. However, this is only as an adhesive. You would need a sublimation coating on the wood in order for sublimation to work.

The recommendation is to put it on the print.
What about Aleen's tacky spray, does that work?
There is not way I can test every brand.
What spray would you recommend using for MDF earrings or other hard surfaces?
My recommendations in this video are for any surface.
@@AngieHolden thank you!
Will this help either avoiding ghosting? I’ve been having that problem with my larger sublimation shirts
For shirts, make sure you preheat well as it may be shrinking during the pressing process.
@@AngieHolden I do that as well. I notice it’s fine on smaller, 9 in sublimation. But when I increase to 13x19, I get ghosting
You can definitely try the spray and see!
@@AngieHolden I’m trying it tonight!!!
Mahalos😊
The Sprayaway is not in stock at Walmart
Sorry! I cannot control stocking issues!

It was from Craft Express! I just randomly picked something from my stash to do the test!
I love pixie spray. I have been using this on my cricut mats👍 for several years. Thanks Angie
I heard it works well on mats as well but I haven't tried it!
@@AngieHoldendefinitely would like a video on that!

It was ranked pretty high but I had some residue on hard surfaces. It may come off but I wanted something that I didn't have to add that step.
@@AngieHolden Good to know! Thank you!

I am hoping so but I haven't seen anything yet!
@@AngieHolden did you hear Conde got bought and they are coming back? I'm so happy. 90% off my blanks come from Conde.
