This is beautiful. I went past the ellsmore community yesterday and am here out of curiosity as I've never heard of it before. I so wish I could join your community but don't think my husband would. 😂 Lovely way to live. I feel there is so little real community engagement these days. The 'welcome' sign at the driveway means just that! Our old friend and one-time MP Tony Windsor is about the only person we know from Werris Creek, so it's always nice to make a new friend. That birthday buffet looked incredible! What a lovely surprise for the birthday girl…. It was so lovely to see Rosemary again! I’ll never forget her stories about welcoming those young men into her home and never locking her door to strangers….. What a wonderful video you have put together for us, finished with the beautiful wedding of the gorgeous young couple who were married. Thank you for putting this together for us. You always lift our spirits and your words of wisdom always inspire us. Much love to you both and to your community 💖
Wow! that catering team really bought its 'A' game to the event. Thanks for sharing that! (Currently in the office looking at my meagre diet-centred packed lunch 😭) We do indeed live in troubled times, and have done so for more than a few years. This is where people of faith need to work TOGETHER to bring Jesus's care to those in need. We are His eyes, hands and feet, regardless of theology.
