Most of these special needs abuse cases never get reported because the victim is unable to say anything. At least those discriminated by race, color, or creed can speak out to defend themselves. For special needs individuals, it's essentially impossible. They have no mouth and they must scream.
If this happened to my special needs child, I would have told them that my child is not coming back to school here ever again and that I am keeping him or her home and homeschooling him or her. In this case, I have every right to contribute to truancy. The public school system is a joke. Locking a child in a closet should never be used as a form of punishment.
