Hi, i have changed the engine oil to castrol 10w50 super bike. Man now the bike is smooth, vibe free & Heats less when compared to the Hp prolube. Also the unwanted tappet noise is also not present. The stock oil is of low quality and looses is viscosity fast. Save your Bike's Engine and use some quality engine oil Brands such as motul, castrol , liqui moly. YOU will feel the difference !!

@surendartejesh946 yeah i think yes its gud bike to ride wid pillion as well just one thing is that its seats are not so firm which can be a issue for pillions otherwise it has very well low end torque and take load on hills and highways easily, u can watch my Mussoorie vlogs for pillion reference brother.

Now, I’m looking for a bike that’s ideal for daily commuting and long weekend rides. I believe this bike perfectly fits my needs. Fuel indicators aren’t accurate… as like the mileage indicator as well.
True until 120-125 the windblasts are manageable after that you’ll need to lean over tank , 160 was doable only then.
Seat’s I’ll differ with your review.. 100-120kms max on single stretch after that you’ll feel it in your butts…

Sir do a full tank mileage test until the bike completely stops. Since before low fuel indicator comes up even when there is 3-4 litre fuel left. In emergency case how long will it go till it stops. Dont overdo it that it hurts Fuel pump just near the end of fuel tank capacity. It would be great since the Himalayan is going 50km+ when range shows 0. This will be reassuring to new owners 🎉🎉. Cheers

Im have riden a 200 km ride with full tank, when the odo shows 230 to 250 the reserve indicator blinks. I nostly cruise between 70 to 110, mostly 70 to 90. I observed the same twice. Is ther something wrong here in my riding style or the bike. Even though the speedo meter average shows 29 to 30, when i calculate im not the getting the shown mileage.

    And similar compact bikes
My 80 percentage usage is in city
    20 percent touring
    But wirh pillion

This bike is very much capable to take rider along with pillion to any destination as it has ample power with low end torque for highway and mountains, adequate space for pillion seat, u can checkout my Mussoorie vlogs wid pillion.
KTM both 250/390 adv i have reject for so many reasons but four major are:-

I think yes KTM got more high speed as it lacs on low end torque, build quality and brand image (developed by fukre riders), but Triumph scram 400x is class apart as it got top notch build quality, styling, brand image enough power to cruise on 120-130 on highways and easily can take rider & pillion along with luggage to any terrain.

@@Kaushik_Pravesh If you change bike every 2 years, fine you go for it. MY 390 keeps me engaged even after 7 years. I have no problem with Triumph's build quality. I have problem with the way power is delivered. There is nothing for the enthusiasts. People upgrading from 150s or 200s will appreciate. In a KTM even if you are riding at 100 KMPH, with a twist of the throttle you dart off from that speed. That's KTM
