Great interview! Venom didn't get to play at L'Amour in Brooklyn later in the week because of the pyro snafu at The Paramount. The owners of L'Amour wouldn't let them play. Also, the story I heard was that 1 pyro tech filled the "bombs", and then another filled them again by mistake, so the explosions were twice as big as they were supposed to be.
I still have a picture of me and Dan liker when I hung out with nuclear assault for 3 days up in Buena Park CA 1987! Dan liker even bought my food up at the mall. Dan liker 💯💯
Lilker Rules. S.O.D. and Nuclear Assault 🤘 Dude's been in a lot of great bands. Love the Macabre story. Albert Was Worse Than Any Fish In The Sea is a Macabre classic from the Sinister Slaughter album. The album cover of which is my av. 🤘 Random coincidences lol.
The only thing I never liked about Fistful of Metal is Neil Turbin lol Those songs are way better with Joey or John singing them. It’s a straight up classic!!!
Nine minutes of these two goobers, and when they finally bring Danny out, they ask about an “upcoming” biography that’s been out for ten years. I’m gonna stick with it though because Lilker is an absolute legend and beast bassist.
When we were trying to schedule Danny for the show, he told me one of the dates we offered wouldn’t work because he was meeting with his biographer. I thought he was working on a new book. My mistake. Thanks for sticking with it. Hope you enjoyed the rest. - Dave
There should be an Underground Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame for people like Danny Lilker. 🤘🤘
I agree.. I never listen or watch podcast but this popped up and I was like no way.. Dan Lilker. Early Anthrax, SOD and Nuclear Assault shaped me. 🤘🤘
That's a great idea actually. Have different memorabilia displays and stuff as well. I'd visit.
Dan is such a fucking legend! The real fucking deal!
Danny rules!!! 😀 💀 🚬 😎 👍
from Nuclear assault to S.OD. TO brutal truth. this dude is a metal legend. and Anthrax too

I'm catching myself thinking Jason is Dr. Drew, they sound similar. I need to watch it instead of just listening.

Jason was the vocalist for Watchtower and Dangerous Toys. Have some respect. Goober.
I’ll give ya Watchtower, but Dangerous Toys is poser shit. Sorry goober.
