Two different departments. Sherriff Department arrested this guy and locked him up for days. Police Department just isn't investigating the stolen car report made by this guy.
But it gets worse than that. Police Department is apparently not posting on any shared information site that they are investigating that vehicle as stolen, or it would have shown up as stolen when the Sherriff Department ran the plate number. It's either that or the Sherriff Department completely ignored that the car was being sought as stolen by the local Police Department at the time of the theft. Either way is terrible incompetence and poor investigation by both departments.

Let me guess? Judge Naumoff? If so figures. The Richland county prosecutors are highly untrained, they give them "trial dog" awards for having the most Felony convictions each year. If innocent, they will even withhold Exculpatory Evidence and collude with their court appointed attorneys to get you to cop out to a plea, they have hearings without people even present. I was maliciously prosecuted by Shelby PD Sean Nolen, and Adam Turner, Body Cam footage clearly shows I was targeted and a victim of bias policing. Asst. prosecutor Matt Metcalfe who is now the Chief Magistrate in the RC courts told them to charge me for abduction. My wife wanted to argue and I was tired of her threatening suicide and having to deal with the triangulating, projecting, trying to isolate me from everyone, was physically punching me in the face which I never once retaliated or hit her back. I told her I wasn't going to argue with her anymore and that I was going to leave. Offered her to stay at the residence (which is in my fathers name) and offered her my truck so she could get to and from her new job..She said she was going to sh00t herself and began opening her 9mm gun case. I said to her "don't you care about your Kid" she said " I don't give a f**k" " so I grabbed ahold of the case and took it from her. After I managed to secure it from her I continued to try and tell her to chill out, and she was being aggressive and pushing me as I was walking backwards through the hallway. I ended up sitting down and she walked out the back door and the neighbor took her to PD because she was walking down the street in the rain without her shoes and no coat. PD report says she "escaped and ran out" yet I had the wyze cam video of her walking out and down the street. I wasn't even aware that she was leaving, let alone going to the PD. I left. text messages from her said "I didn't get what I wanted, I wanted you here with me and not to leave" . I received a phone call 8 hours later from Bushey (Shelby PD officer, same officer who charged my wife with DV 11 years prior for threatening me saying "I'll sh0ot you in the F**king face and that's a thr3@t and that's a promise" which she was convicted of. She got pregnant by one of her multiple affair partners and I went no contact for 11 years til she messaged me asking to talk Aug 2021. I ended up caving and talked to her since we were still married yet we never crossed paths and spoke or seen one another since. She said she wasn't the same 19 year old and that she changed. I fell for it. Cops came in Sept when her and my mother got into it, I have no history of violence or anything. Yet she has an investigatory report from Willard Where she went into the Willard PD and said her boyfriend beat her up. I looked into it and he was never even charged, I contacted them by email asking about a few days ago still awaiting a response. When Bushey called me he said I was being charged for F3 abduction, that there was a warrant for my arrest and that the Marshalls were looking for me, that they didn't want anything "bad" to happen to me and that I needed to turn myself in. They didn't even ask me what happened. f**ked up is because I've lived in Shelby my whole life and they know me enough to know I am not violent. Officer Sean Nolen violated/neglected policy, must have been too entranced while feeding my wife lollipops and rubbing her arms. I contacted the prosecutors office and attorney and was told for 2 days that there were no charges and no warrant for my arrest. Shelby Municipal Court Clerk Shannon Small held a "Probable Cause" hearing, determined probable cause and issued a warrant on complaint. Clerk of Courts is Clerical and administrative, NOT JUDICIAL. my wife had tried to recant not even 24 hours later. Nolen said charges were already signed sealed and delivered. She went back the next day and said someone was lying cause there was no charges and no warrant for my arrest and demanded it be dropped again, and he said, No cause it's right here and I ain't dropping it. I was arrested at my residence April 20 2022, 16 days after the incident. They served an illegal search warrant on my fathers estate yet listed in the warrant that it was in my name and wifes... They were searching for any and all electronic communication devices that I and my wife used to communicate, had the charges listed as Abduction and Obstructing Justice. (Hm, so if they ignored the evidence, failed to investigate, even release multiple assault rifles handguns and shotgun and over 700 ends of ammunition to her (clearly showing they didn't do a Background check or even investigated at all.. which due to the firearms would be a violation of the federal gun control act of 1968.. Judge Studer, PB officer Dumbeck and Joseph Artip former Shelby PD now Ashland Pd and the same officer who fabricated the bogus search warrant shouted Shut Up at me at the preliminary hearing for trying to defend myself against the bold straight lie Officer Nolen said. He said to the judge that I tried to bribe my wife with he residence and my truck to stop charges. Yet she even wrote in her affidavit I offered her to stay there cause of her job and said she could use my truck. How did I bribe her if she wrote it in her report BEFORE charges were even made and before I was even aware she even went to the police station? She said she never said that I Held her against her will, she said THEY (Nolen, Turner) said that because they wanted to get me for a felony. They cut out the misconduct from the preliminary hearing recording where they Shouted shut up which I can easily prove (plus I've done recording engineering for 18 years, it's not rocket science to see it. It's funny they don't have video yet they live stream their city council meetings every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month. The law director Pled Not guilty to a hit and skip and OVI in 2017 which Judge Jon Schaefer accepted, yet recused himself from the driving without a motorcycle License and without helmet caused a conflict of interest. Really? Then he resigned "for health reasons" and appointed Sheree Studer Who's only competition for the election. GO FIGURE he kept his position as Law director, yet stepped down from the election, she remained a judge since. MAYOR Steve Schagg was also appointed by Marilyn John when she resigned to become representative of the district. These people are not Qualified to be in the positions they are in. Schagg had a chance to prevent all that happened but chose not to and pushed it off on Chief of police Combs. Chain of command = Mayor - Chief of Police - Patrolman. What I've experienced goes much further than that however I believe I have maxed character limit for comment
