I sell the extra cases on ebay. The soft bags ship cheap so I get a bit back from the initial investment. What made you go with this one over one of the brushless models?
I bought one of these two years ago and used it to renovate my old house by replacing all worn out hardware, door locks, assembling things, and more. Paid for itself 100 times over.
I'm an electrician and I have 2 of these. I keep a #2 philips on one and a driver bit on the other. I've been using them for about 3 years now and can't imagine going back to a heavier, more bulky screw gun. I actually bought the 2nd one when the 1st stopped working. I sent the tool in to Milwaukee for repair and they sent me a brand new one, so 2 brand new screwdrivers. Well... not new now. They're very used screwdrivers. I keep my impact and my hammer drill near-by, but at least 1 screwdriver is on me at all times.
I got this from Home Depot for 60 bucks. I bought it for interior work and working on my rc cars. I wouldn’t have guessed I would use it more than my Milwaukee ratchet or stubby impact!
Nice video. Good info, some examples/demo's of use, some humor and not too much talking. Thanks. I have mine in my tool bag so I also thought about other uses for the bag it came in.

I have this model and love it. I also got the Fuel version. It's powerful as hell, but the clutch isn't nearly as sensitive and you have to be careful with small screws. I have an M4 (4 volt) that's really nice too. There is a 2 speed version of the one you reviewed here, it's the 2406. I will be getting it soon, as I am a tool addict.
@@lvillegas1821 That totally depends on what you'll be using it for. Since posting my comment, I got the 2 speed 2406 as well. It's a great tool as well. But due to the small footprint of the M4, I take it everywhere and it has become my most used tool. It isn't perfect. No LEDs, no variable speed control, and button position that is a bit wonky when used left handed in the pistol configuration. But it's just handy as hell. Perfect for 9x% of what you use a screwdriver for, with enough speed to drill small holes in sheet metal and wood. But not the tool to choose if you want to drive 3in wood screws with no pilot hole. If you are doing serious driving of beefier screws the Fuel or 2406 are the ones. Both have 2 speed gearboxes and enough speed to do real drilling, though not as good as an actual drill. The single speed model is just fine for most applications and can be had as a 2 battery kit a couple times a year at HD. That's hard to beat. If they came out with another M4 with variable speed control and LEDs, I'd buy it tomorrow. It's nice to be able to drive screws and listen to the radio at the same time. Quiet is very nice. All of these are quiet tools.
Thanks for the video! Just purchased one which will be dedicated to guitar maintenance & repair. Looks like the perfect tool to replace that collection of Craftsman screwdrivers cluttering my desk ;)

I few months ago another viewer made a comment saying that if I had the m12 impact then I could just replace this tool.. so I'm curious myself and have yet to review it. This thing is fantastic. ruclips.net/user/postUgkx1McjgiqTNcTjrhvRvJWcrk5bzTeQW-Wn Easy to store in a bag in "screwdriver" position, not heavy but well built, and the location of the button makes it easy to screw or unscrew with one hand in either "gun" or "screwdriver" position. My only real complaint is there isn't a clip anywhere to store another bit, and the bit isn't a combo dual-ended bit either, so the flathead and P1/P0 philips bits we have to carry around invariably get misplaced.Note: Apparently Black + Decker changed this same Li2000 model from "Type 2" to "Type 3". This new "Type 3" appears to be slightly lighter, and the charging plug is now larger, with a little metal piece to keep it snug. I never noticed the "Type 2" version charger plug to not be perfectly snug, so not sure why this change was made - it does make it annoying that our shop now has 8 of these, and the new 3 have different charging plugs :/
Two things.. and I see and hear this comment a lot for this and the ratchet.. curious why is fuel important to you? and is your RUclips name an aussie reference? Are you in fact a hippy bogan? If so.. hell yes.
@@FixitBongbong lol. yes it is an Aussie reference but no im not a bogan or a hippy :D. Fuel generally has more power and the non fuel stuff is slowly being phased out so to but a non fuel would feel like buying yesterdays technology. This is still a great drill though. only reason i bought one is because I broke my old one
I'll have to check that one out! Just glancing at it I think one benefit the Milwaukee might have is a more compact overall length due to the pistol grip.
I just bought one from Home Depot today For $79.99. Is that a good deal?
No
There's a deal for the screwdriver and 3/8 ratchet, plus battery and charger, for $99 at HD right now. Return yours and grab that deal
Just scored one for $80 new off Facebook killer tools
Awesome deal!
It looks very weak. For very specific jobs and delicate materials
Good to know 👌🏻
My battery is flashing red and green but both have half of battery life
Not a fuel version, will pass till they come out with one
Two things.. and I see and hear this comment a lot for this and the ratchet.. curious why is fuel important to you? and is your RUclips name an aussie reference? Are you in fact a hippy bogan? If so.. hell yes.
@@FixitBongbong lol. yes it is an Aussie reference but no im not a bogan or a hippy :D. Fuel generally has more power and the non fuel stuff is slowly being phased out so to but a non fuel would feel like buying yesterdays technology. In the end I did find and buy a fuel version a of this drill a week and am happy I did. It is slightly light, a lot more powerful about 10 - 20% and slightly smaller. This is still a great drill though. only reason i bought one is because I broke my old one
Is this Jewish R favorite screwdriver? I bought it it not too terribly long ago and very happy with it
Lmao who brings a whole jar of sandwich spread to the job site lmao.
Sharing is caring!
Why wear the gloves to show off the tool though?
I have a drill bit that won’t come out of it 🥲
A hex drill bit?
@@FixitBongbong yep! I got it out by pulling out the chuck and then wrapping a zip tie underneath it to hold it up and then the bit came out easily.
$49 (1/10/21)
Same here! Haha
Nope not stupid right handed people will never know the struggle we left handed people have in a right hand word lol
#leftiesunite
A sandwich holder lol
I'm glad someone finds me lame jokes funny.
Your makita stripped screws because electronic clutches don't work. Brushless downside.

You're welcome! Thanks for watching!!
To much Cash, rather get the bosch go
I'll have to check that one out! Just glancing at it I think one benefit the Milwaukee might have is a more compact overall length due to the pistol grip. That might make it more useful in tight spaces? Can you tell me if the Bosch Go has a sprag clutch that allows the user to break fasteners loose with the tool manually then use the motor? Thanks for watching and the feedback!!
These are also great if your an aircraft mechanic. Cheaper alternative to the snap on version.
@@tyboogieboy Oof.. that's definitely one area of wrenching I don't trust myself in!
What kinda fucking lunch was that
ggg
