At least they will respect you and your courage and let you live . If you think that running works against them , you are totally wrong

Yes right and if they attack dont let them do a neckbite. Hold distance with the big cats using arms and legs. Protecting neck is crucial in the succes of attacks. Most sleeping dogs killed by leopards died by neckbite. If these is succesfull its over in a couple of seconds. A stick will give human more reach and attacking distance. This can injure the lion or leopard and thats why they some times back of!

This is not only one of the most exceptionally daft wildlife videos I have ever watched; it is also misleading and pathetically sensationalised. For a start, only the first clip demonstrated any real threat faced by human beings in the presence of lions (at a push) - the rest were perfectly ordinary encounters. Lions are hardly ever a threat to people during the day, especially when the people in question are armed (even, as a later clip showed, with a stick). I could go on for several paragraphs describing how each of the ensuing videos are ridiculously melodramatic. However, to save time, I'll say this: the final clip is from WildEarth, with which I am more familiar than most... if you are going to use their clips, you might benefit from actually learning some of the information they provide, which might, in turn, prevent you from creating content which amounts to little more than ignorant hype. Lions are hunted and killed en masse throughout their territories by human beings. Stop pretending that we have much to fear from them and start showing your viewers the possible reality of their future extinction due to our ignorance and indifference. If you don't want to face real danger from lions, don't walk about alone and unarmed at night in the middle of a big five reserve - this is not difficult. I'll respond to criticism prophylactically - yes, this is an essay of a response, I'm sorry. Yes, they're just trying to gain clout. But here's the thing, they've got over 100k subscribers and they're pedalling bullshit to the credulous. It's not fair on the animals, and it's not fair on the people who work at WildEarth or in any conservancy, who work tirelessly to preserve these creatures from mass ignorance and senseless slaughter. Why do I even care? Well, forgive my bias, but my sister worked for WildEarth for several years, and I grew up in South Africa, visiting these incredible creatures every year. Also, I'm bored and annoyed by willful ignorance. No disrespect intended to those who were unaware and commented earlier - it's not your fault that people will do and say anything for views. Peace (except for Claws... you should buck your ideas up or piss off from the internet).
