Loved this series!! Question: if I am using a regular blow-dryer does the heat level matter? I know you are using the amazing Dyson which dries hair faster, but for us with regular blow-dryers do you recommend low speed and low heat as well?
Hey Fren! So, I have an Yellow Bird blow dryer. What diffuser do you recommend for those who don’t have a Dyson? Also, how often do you do the clay mask? Thanks in advance! ♥️
Thank you so much for the series. I saved all the videos for reference. My hair is popping and I shared the videos with my daughter. Anywho my questions is on the cleanse part if I’m not using the clay do I use shampoo in the place if the clay until I need to use the clay again?
Kimberly...If you can trademark this series before someone tries to claim it as their own...do it! RUclips watchers will never, ever get a detailed wash and go series like this again and you need to make sure you get your coins before someone else tries to take credit for your work...it's a masterpiece. Thank You! 🖤❤
I’m so glad you said it. I hear so many “oil is a sealant to seal the moisture” well sis you can’t seal what’s not there and that’s why your hair is still dry. I will be directing them to this video from now on.
Did she really just wash her hair, apply all that product, dry her beautiful curls and then said I'm going to go workout just to come back with her curls STILL poppin? WOW! ICONIC My hair could never 😍😭
I wear my hair like that at night as well 🤗 it's been a hot minute since my wash and go lasted 7 days 😂 we are patiently awaiting for the moisture training video cuz the frens can't hang that long 😂
I came back to comment and say to anyone who may be doubting the series and asking if it really works...it does!!! I followed EVERY step from the bentonite clay to the scarf to sleep in and I have to say this is the best wash and go I have EVER had! Thanks Kim!!
I like how your tips can extend beyond just wash and gos. I applied your techniques when I put my hair in twist, so it will be nice to see how much moisture they retained when I take them down next week.
Honestly this series was life changing! You need a Grammy or something and you deserve wayyyyy more subscribers because your content is top tier! Thank you thank you thank you!!
FRENNNNNNN, this was exactly the thing we’ve been needing! You did the damn thing with this series! I’m about to rewatch, look through the comments & just take notes. Then establish a routine altered to my needs & really study my hair throughout the process. Thank you for this! #KimCheGang 😝🥰
This series was so good. I have been natural for 10 years and I self taught myself how to do a good wash and go and it is so nice Kim to see you share these great tips on how to perfect your wash and Go. For me this series reaffirms that I am doing the right thing and following the correct steps to achieve a good wash and go. Thanks so much again for doing this series.
Kim, really loved this series. My wash and go lasts 2 weeks without refreshing. My hair retains the moisture for 2 weeks. I wash my hair twice per month and I use a mousse with my liquid leave-in instead of a gel and no oil. I just put on a bonnet and fluff in the mornings. My hair is 4A/3C, medium porosity.
I band my w & g’s, throw a bonnet on top and it works WONDERS for me and my hair hunny 🙌🏽. Also my hair retains moisture all the moisture I put into it as well (moisture trained) but I still like to spray The Mane Choice’s Tropical Moringa Daily Restorative Spray to spray my hair after before I go in and separate. I even give it a spray for the finishing touch after I style my hair and I now need to purchase another bottle because I went through the first one! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT! The smell and results! I get lots of compliments too ☺️
You are the best natural hair influencer hands down. I started my natural hair journey back in 2009. You give concrete info and tutorials like the old school you tubers with some new age elements lol, and I love it! You have a great personality, you’re beautiful, and your hair is so healthy. Keep doing your thing queen!
SummerKissCrush I’m 26 and I’m just learning about my hair. It’s a lot, but when I first wore my natural hair out with products I’ve recently bought I felt so happy. My hair is not looser in curls, which my family mostly has, so I felt like the odd one out, different and isolated. They didn’t embrace my hair and would always comment on how “puffy” it was. It did hinder my confidence, but I’m learning as this is the beginning of my hair journey.
Fren !!! This really works. I tried every step of this routine and I am on day 4 of my wash and go it’s still defined and moisturized. Changed some products like the leave in but girlllll thank you I never thought I could have day 4 hair look good still 💕 usually by day 2 is blah but not anymore thanks to you !
I needed this series like 2 years ago 😭 I done cut off alot of my hair because of embracing my shrinkage from wash n gos which caused ALOT of unnecessary fairy knots and damage. Now I know better. It's cool, my hair is going to thrive during this quarantine with the help of this series. Thank you for being so open and honest and especially detailed ❤
Omg this whole series really changed my whole curly hair routine I was never able to get wash-n- go’s on my hair so I just did braid and twist outs but now I tried it and my hair looks so amazing 😍😍 thank you so much and I love your channel Kimberly 💖💖
I just found your videos today and my gosh, what a Blessing. I'm 46 years old and I never could figure out the best way to protect my hair after wash n go's...I love watching you beautiful young ladies because you bring such freshness to the scene. You are just too cute...stay real and empowered!! I am a happy subscriber. Congrats on all the blessings coming your way!!
All the methods you did during this series, I do already (from your previous videos) and I can attest that you don’t have to refresh your hair until wash day. Thanks Kim.
I tried with and without oil, my hair prefers oils but!! light oils that penetrates the strands such as olive, avocado or grapeseed oil and only on the ends and you must rinse of the excess otherwise it just sits on top. Great series sis!
I have watched every single video in this series! There is so much valuable information in this series that I will actually take written notes.😉 I've been watching several tutorials; including Natural Reign's, and I'm ready to take the next step. I'll be buying my products in a couple of days and doing my 1st washing and go very soon!! Ive been in quarantine bc I was recovering from Covid🤧 and I think the this will be my break out majic!!🏃🏾♀️ Good job, sis! 🖐🏽💯💣🤎
You have gained a new follower. You’re super funny (I can appreciate a LADY who’s not afraid to use a lil profanity) and very knowledgeable. You helped me see where I’ve been going wrong, which is why I keep giving up and just getting braids. Now I’m excited to try this new regimen. Thanks, Sis!
Thank you so, so much for this series!! My hair has been struggling 😭 but after seeing how you broke all the steps down and told us why you do what you do, I’m hopeful & excited again 🙏🏾🙌🏾
Excellent series!!!! I've been using the information you have shared for a while now and it's made a huge difference in my hair. The explanations and directions you provide are a must see for anyone with textured hair. I love my curls. With your help, I spend less time doing my hair and I make more informed decisions about my hair. My hair has never looked better! Thanks Frennn!
So glad I found your channel. I have watched your steps and they are SPEAKING TO ME. I have been natural since almost the end of 2014, my hair is long asf, curly, etc. However, I have yet to master wash and gos or anything really. My hair literally stay in buns throughout the days until I wash again. I am dying to learn something new from another youtuber who really goes in depth about hair stuff. Thanks for sharing!
Kimberly...Kudos to you!! I have been natural for 20 years. I had locs for 17 years, took them down, and now have natural "loose" hair. I have been watching RUclipsrs for tips, tricks and hair care advice since then. I have yet to see a whole series of videos that detail the entire wash-to-style-to-bed process like the one you have developed. This is "lit" (as the young people LOL). I thoroughly enjoyed each segment of the series and can honestly say I learned something from each one. I am going to pass this on to others and encourage them to subscribe to your channel. Keep up the great work! The sponsorships will definitely flow your way.
Omg girl because of you my wash n go I recently did was bomb af! I would usually air dry but my hair would frizz up not knowing I was losing moisture (I’m low porosity). I really don’t like doing my hair in the shower but my hair LOVES it. So shower it is ☺️
Girlll I just loveeeee watching youuu!!!! You are my all time fave and literally sound how me and my friends would be talking!! Lol very informational always!!!!! Gettt ittt girlll🤪🥰🥰🥰🥰
Friend, I have watched this series so many times and I finally tried it and did a successful wash n go by putting all these steps into practice 🥰. Thanks Kim !!!
Sis, I have been afraid of wash n go's since my first failed attempts when I went natural nearly a decade ago. Now I'm trying to get a routine that will make wash day less of a hassle so I can take better care of my scalp, and thinking of giving a wash n go regimen a try. ONLY armed with this series do I feel confident enough to attempt! Thank you fren! We gon' see what happens. I'll let you know if it works! (Only if it works though bwahaha)
Today I did my first wash n go and boy oh boy am I tired 😩 but my results are bomb 🔥 thank you!! (I've been moister training purposely in hopes to have a good result and it worked! 😍)
Fren you are da BOMB Thank you so much for this series this has helped me with my natural hair journey. I need to try that Aztec clay mask. Thank you for this series I'm sitting under the dryer now after a bomb wash n go I just completed. I saved all your videos and you got a new subbie Boo!
😍😍 fren you are a queen for this series!!! I followed your videos to do my wash and go this past weekend and its not perfect (I did it before tour stretching and wrapping vids and I think I messed up) but it’s WAY better than any previous attempts 😍 thanks Kim!!!!
Thanks so much for this!! I actually tried my first wash and go after watching this!! I didn’t think it was necessary being natural 4C and low porosity I could just rock the fro and I didn’t think I could do this. Looking forward to growth. I appreciate you fren ✊🏾🤪

Thanks so much for this series Kim! I absolutely enjoyed this! I have learned so so much! I really use your advice for when I do my wash&gos and the results are amazing!! Great job! ❤️🥰
Thank you for this series. The best wng I ever have. I made love to my hair so it's very happy. I learn a lot and am going to practice. I save every single video. So if I don't remember anything I go back. You are the best
Kim, thank you so much for this series, especially for making it free! As soon as I take out my mini twists, I'm doing this. And also, thanks for having the Amazon store, too. It's really helpful and easy! ❣ (Don't sleep on Kim y'all!)

Loved this series!! Question: if I am using a regular blow-dryer does the heat level matter? I know you are using the amazing Dyson which dries hair faster, but for us with regular blow-dryers do you recommend low speed and low heat as well?
When your hair was shorter did you use this same method with the scarf?

I applied her techniques yesterday when I did my twist out, omg I woke up today with some juicy curls! I was so happy
Same here applied leave in in the shower curls clumped for days and moisturized with a twist out ❤️
Omg day 7 looked even better!! I love the “medium frizz” look

Yas and amen! Followed this entire method. I was in the mirror asking myself “Who’s curls are these?” Finally loving my natural hair.
I tried with and without oil, my hair prefers oils but!! light oils that penetrates the strands such as olive, avocado or grapeseed oil and only on the ends and you must rinse of the excess otherwise it just sits on top. Great series sis!
yeah same, my hair prefers light oils

Finger coils look great my mom does it!!! she sleeps on it overnight and it always looks bomb
Thank you so much, I combed my locs out after a year. And my hair is so much longer I forgot how to do it! How to restore it! Thank you for the help!
It was my wash sat today so I'm rewatching some of these videos to guide me
Since my hair has grown and its shoulder length now, I will have to try this..

One of the best series, EVA! 🤎

This series CHANGED MY LIFE!!!! Thanks Kim ❤️
Thanks so much for this!! I actually tried my first wash and go after watching this!! I didn’t think it was necessary being natural 4C and low porosity I could just rock the fro and I didn’t think I could do this. Looking forward to growth. I appreciate you fren ✊🏾🤪
We are all about to be coming out of quarantine SNATCHED! Thank you!!!!!!
Thank you for this series! Very helpful! For us TWA’s the banding method seemed to be keeping my curls not so smushed. Just did big chop a few months ago so when my hair grows back to it’s reg length will def be trying this method!
Okay, so I followed your instructions for each step and I must say my curls look pretty decent today for the first time in years. The only thing I did differently is add some oil before the gel as I have high porosity hair and without any my hair would be dry and stiff today. I used the black female owned Amalise Revitalizing Moisture Mist. My hair loves it. I also used the pre poo and primer by Inmate Life as my 3c hair had neural fatigue about 2 years ago and Wash and Goes stopped working for my hair...at that time Dev a Curl Products may have played a role too. Thank you for these detailed videos. I hate the ones that just talk and don't demonstrate as some of us just don't get it. Jalen's friend Kiya also so did a great demonstrated W&G recently that was of great help. I just love you guys. Continued Blessings to YOU!
Excellent series, thank you soooooo much
And by the way the entire series was dope. I did every step today except wrapping it, will do that tonight
Thanks Fren!! This entire series has been everything! I have watched every single video and now feel more confident in doing a wash & go. I'm going to try as soon as I take this braids out! Thank you beautiful!
This series gave me so much life!! Thanks for breaking it down fren!!
I agree ! I don’t use oil only when I deep condition because when I did add oil to my routine it was too hit or miss for me sis !
I set my alarm for this!! This series is so good Kim!
Thanks so much for this series Kim! I absolutely enjoyed this! I have learned so so much! I really use your advice for when I do my wash&gos and the results are amazing!! Great job! ❤️🥰
