I have played diablo 4 for about 100 hours. In that time I never had as much fun as I did with Dave the Diver. I had tears in my eyes from laughing. This game and the developer deserve a prize!
I bought Diablo 4 for ps4 and after some hours of playing I asked for a refund. Creators of Diablo 4 were totally uninspired, feels like they made it for the money and that is it.
Congratulations, this shitty commentary made to IGN as clickbait.
Fun is subjective. Hopefully people put that in perspective instead of simply saying something is better or more fun than others based on a trailer. Or use it as a way to show their frustrations about something they simply didn't like but others have.

@@deivytrajan I'd say yes ! It's a very fun game and relatively easy to get the hang of . It can get hard in later parts as you level up and swim deeper. I say give the demo a try first!

I am at the tail end of the game I am still getting introduced to new mechanice. You thought you did all of it? Here have another restaurant to manage.. This game deserves all the love it can get.
Collect ants, there's so much to do. No need a computer.
Whoever created this trailer really got me sold to the game. I'm 2 hours in and I'm really hooked. I was contemplating on FFXVI, but this game made me remember video games are meant to be fun and enjoyable.
I just played the FF16 demo and am excited to play it.
But Dave the Diver seems like what I need in my life right now. I get what you mean, but it's not apples to apples. We both are looking for more Dave in our life at the moment 😊😊
The comments here are vaguely reminding me of "Fashion Police Squad," which is another indie title of an interesting nature.

There is pinch of Yakuza in this game and I love it. Absurd situations and tons of mini-games. I sure hope the narrator is part of the game because he really sold the game for me.
I never knew this game existed until the Nikke collab announcement. I'll have to check it out.
This is the game im most enjoying this year, believe me, this game needs a big recognition at the game awards, thank you devs for an amazing game.

Can u expain what makes this game fun? Restourant managed seems more like some grind filler stuff idk only used to competitive games as fun in last decade
The new minigame in Nikke is like a demo of this. The only difference is that we are playing as the Aegis Squad. I love Nikke!!!
So buying this. Pretty sure these are the guys who made Evil Factory as well, and their pixel art and expressions are masterful!

Man, I have been desperate for a game that would scratch that Moonlighter itch for years, and Dave the Diver does that beautifully. Not only does it hit that rogue-lite/management sim niche like a dream, but it also just has so much personality. Such a fun game, can't wait to play through the new 1.0 content!
I know I'm late to this, but if you haven't, you should also try Reccetear. It's the core concept moonlighter stole done way better....

Saw the amazing trailer, and I was sold! Promised a lot of content. The game delivered with funny characters (with mesmerizing cutscenes), bountiful content, and variety most triple-A games cannot even dream of. Easiest recommendation in a loooong time from me
To anyone who just stumble to this game by chance, buy it. The game uniquely and successfully combined spearfishing and restaurant management, with all the accompanying unlockables, upgrades and mini games in between. The most important aspect for me about the game is how accessible it is. With my weekdays work and weekend academic session, I can play the game on my own time. No convoluted mechanics or system I have to open a wiki for, just simple and engaging gameplay. To the devs, I salute you 🫡

This is a real game. In the midst of all the "AAA" garbage being shoveled at us, this is a genuinely great example of how a game should be done. Visuals, story, mechanics, music, sound.. it's all there. Feels like every day I play, a newfeature becomes unlocked, yet its not overwhelming. Highly recommend anyone to try this, even if it doesn't look like your cup of tea.
I hope you guys will consider bring the game to consoles in the near future, it looks damn good!
If you enjoy a grindy, cooking and management sim game with a silly/good story and you're on the fence about buying this game, go ahead and do yourself a favor and go for it! I bought it on Switch and I can't put it down - it's very addicting! Even after playing for many, many hours and I begin to think "they can't possibly add more" they continue to surprise me! Best $20 spent on a game.

You ever have those conversations with yourself that go “5 more minutes then I’m done, seriously swear this time, going to follow through with it. I’ll be in bed 5 seconds after that, then alarm clock 15 minutes later. 20 minutes of sleep is fine.
Then after 10 minutes you’re going to power off and see a new item/weapon/unexplored path and say “I’m just going to call of work. It would be irresponsible of me to work this tired. It’s the right call”. Then you do and just play 18 hours straight?

At 0:59 the trailer showed the player actually cooking and preparing sushi. Yet I’ve played well into the game and have not seen this feature once? Did I get bamboozled or did I miss somethin?
I haven't played it myself, but the reviews all say it slowly introduces new game mechanics as you progress, rather than throw them all at you in the beginning.
This is one of the greatest trailers I have seen in my entire life.

So many reviews on how awesome this game is, would love to play on PS5. Heard it's coming to Switch so hopefully it will also get released on Playstation and Xbox also.

10/10. I have been playing for hours and have barely scratched the surface. It's so much content, and super fun. I'll be surprised if this doesn't win game of the year.
This game is so underated. It's so addictive and fun to play. Good job to the creators. They made a fantastic game. I'm having a blast. If you never played it, do it. It starts bit slow, but after a few upgrades it gets so much better.

정말 희귀한 펫 경우 그 가치만으로 유저의 기분을 좋게 한다던지
외계물고기 같은 단 1마리만 존재하는 전설의 물고기 펫이 존재한다던지 등등

Su vídeojuego tiene la ESENCIA de los títulos clásicos así como los retro ya que se centra en la diversión y la creatividad jugable más que nada.
Amo esta obra en todo sentido y apartado, no cabe duda de que hicieron un vídeojuego atemporal que será rejugado por décadas y se merecen todo el reconocimiento por su arduo trabajo.
En serio les agradezco por revivir la ESENCIA de los juegos, esencia que se está perdiendo y haciendo que los títulos ya no sean divertidos o agradables.
