Late on commenting but Otto's reaction to the food flashing him back to his childhood got me. Certain foods can remind us of happier times, to the point where it brings us to tears. Lois Crawford had almost a similar reaction.
It made me think of that one scene in Ratatouille. It’s that sense of nostalgia eating something that brings you back to a time that is simple yet comforting.

Yeah, it's only a slight change for the cutscene and I think you have to get most of the prep done right but most folks should be fine unless you're intentionally trying to throw it.
Dave the Daver is a Korean game. They also collabed with another Korean game, Goddess of Victory: Nikke. Their collab made me buy the game for a cheap price after finding out it was on Summer Sale while the collab was happening

Our brain ties a lot of memories to smells or tastes, so when you eat something or smell something you can get a flashback to certain things.

I will stand by this game being one of the best games of 2023, and could be a contender for best of 2024 just because its quality is way up there.
