Hale Irwin finishes 7 over par, but in 1974 at Winged Foot Golf Club in Mamaroneck, N.Y., that was good enough to win by two strokes and give Irwin his first of three U.S. Open titles.

@@wizzywizzy8854 I think you are right. Those greens and the rough will "massacre" the modern golf pro because too many drives will end in the rough and then again as the approaches go bounding over the greens. I'd shoot about 140....on the front nine.
