@@soliitudegaming7275 The visuals are a bit dated, however you can make better looking textures in the map editor. The gameplay and level of detail is very far ahead of other games. Buy it and you will see.
Steel Beast was designed to be a training simulator above all else first for different western militaries. It's also cost-effective since it's cost too much for the militaries to upgrade it to gaming pc standards. Hence, graphic isn't a top priority. I would say SB is still very good sim if you just want to learn tanks and apply tactics as realistic as you can. I encourage you to check it out yourself if you're ever curious.
@@soliitudegaming7275 You're a clown if you care about visuals, that's for kids to worry about. Once you understand it's about system depths, proper simulation and all the options that no other platform has.
@@TheOfficialSethos Lol okay bud. Nobody said system depth and simulation doesn’t matter. Visuals are absolutely a factor in immersion and if it looks like shit it’s less immersive. The only clown is someone who is so angry about someone caring about something that you don’t care about. Grow up.
i know this probably isnt the place to ask but is the $100 steel beasts pro license a permanent license or like how does that work? there website is a little confusing :/
Yes, it's about $115 for the full game. You may have to pay a bit for future updates, but those updates don't come in often. You can also get a 12-month pass for about $50 USD. Or you can try out Steel Beasts to see if you'll enjoy it or not for 10 USD/month. I hope this helps!
I find it so hard to play Steel Beasts as it just feels so outdated. GHPC gives a far better experience imo. I can understand why some folks still prefer SB though. Once GHPC is finished its main roadmap I don't think it will even be a contest.
@@PhanPhantasy Well yes and no. It depends on the user. Both have slightly different aims but there is a ton of overlap and its perfectly fine for someone to feel that one does most things better. Which in my mind one clearly does. Of course both can be enjoyed by plenty of people. I never made a claim to the contrary. Both wouldn't exist if they couldn't both be enjoyed.
Great ride of a video, keep up the great work Phan!
Cheers 🍻
Such a good channel - I honestly thought it was easily a 200k plus RUclipsr subscribed channel. Subscribed
Steel Beasts takes time to master, but overall is the benchmark for tanksims right now.
Is it? It looks pretty.... low quality. Even DCS has better ground visuals.

Both are different games for different purposes, and both can be enjoyed at the same time.
