    Still want one of these, and this vid has made the need even greater. Excellent demo. Thank you.

      Thank you! The Tinysizer was one of a kind =) Crossing my fingers that you will find one. Maybe post a "want to buy" thread on the Muffwiggler forums if you're ready. Sometimes these rare things just sit around somewhere and people let them go if nudged.

    excellent video; thanks for putting the time in to create this vid. I've owned the tinysizer for about a year now and still learning how to use it. I watched your other video on the Aux cables and didn't realize how easy it was to connect my non-midi sequencer to the Tinysizer, literally within minutes I was able to have a moroder style bass line from an analog sequencer. the flexibility of the Aux jacks makes this synth 100% modular as it can easily connect to an Arp 2600 for example. another experiment I played around with after watching your Aux video was adding 2 additional oscillators to the Tinysizer (using Arp Little brothers), amazing flexibility. I also have a moog werkstatt that uses similar patch cables, plan on patching the werkstatt's filter with the Tinysizer. it's all good stuff! thx again for the vids on the Tinysizer.

      Hey :) thanks for the comment! I often just patch the Tinysizer directly to my Eurorack modular synth. I actually started with the Tiny and then slowly added Eurorack modules to it, to expand its functionality even further. Still, I'm amazed at how much the Tinysizer already brings with it. Such an awesome synth! I'm envious of your Arp though ;)

      ***** earlier this year moog released a patch bay for it's werkstatt - I purchased 10 of these bays and use them for my Tinysizer plan on building a simple interface between the cables and 3.5mm jacks from the wekstatt patch bay. its much quicker now changing patches on the fly...

    That is an awesome little feature packed synth. Thanks for doing this video!

    This is quite a lot of synth for the size. Very Smurftastic!

    Oh no! I should NOT have watched this! :-)
    Thank you for a brilliant explanation and walk-through of what looks like a wonderful synth! Looks like the ultimate portable synth! Wow!

      Thank you! The Tinysizer fits nicely into a laptop bag too, for safe transportation :)

      Doh!
      I did look in to the Tiny before buying my 1st Doepfer DIY psu kit and going Eurorack and now I see it again as Im coming out the other end!!! Lol!!!
      -I'd like to gig with my Euro but its can get a little large and heavy as well as being difficult deciding what to bring & what to leave at home. This look PERFECT for straight synth voices, FM, S&H, filter pinging and alongside a small Make Noise/Harvestman set-up could be wonderful!

    Wow, now that is something else. A tiny little modular.

      Yeah! It's quite the incredible little beast :)

      ***** Yeah, it's really neat. I don't quite know what I can do with a modular though besides the patterns I see in demos like these. I think I'm more of a keyboardy guy.

    • @tuesdaynightmachines
      @tuesdaynightmachines  8 лет назад

      Well, you can just connect a keyboard to the modular too and play it like a non-modular monosynth. The sound creation is just more flexible with a modular than on a non-modular.

    Thanks for that great overview! Well done. The Tinysizer is a real modular, it's amazing.

      It is indeed! I was surprised myself how much of a "big" modular is inside there.

      Not modular. Patchable.

    • @tuesdaynightmachines
      @tuesdaynightmachines  10 лет назад

      It surely is. It's how I started :) You can also expand the Tinysizer with Eurorack modules easily, by using the AUX ports.

    where you work, to buy so many hardware instruments?

    • @tuesdaynightmachines
      @tuesdaynightmachines  10 лет назад

      Rubba Fingaz Well, I actually own the Tinysizer for almost two years now and I keep selling stuff to buy other instruments. So after the initial investment, I'm not spending too much more. There is a lot happening on the used synth market too, and you can often sell used instruments without too much of a loss :)

    This is awesome, but I dont know if I could get into those tiny patch cables

    • @tuesdaynightmachines
      @tuesdaynightmachines  10 лет назад

      I was skeptical at first, but it never was a problem for my ... medium-sized hands ;-)

    • @KelmoMusic
      @KelmoMusic 10 лет назад

      haha true :P well I have tiny hands, so I guess it could work, I kinda just wish they were eurorack jacks with a larger patch bay area. Keep the size of the knobs the same, but extend the patch bay out into a ms-20 mini style, or given how many 'jacks' there are here, probably larger than that. Very cool machine none the less!

    how can i sync lfos?whats the patch?

    • @tuesdaynightmachines
      @tuesdaynightmachines  6 лет назад

      You have to patch a trigger or gate into the LFO’s sync input. This will reset the LFO on each incoming pulse.

    • @_DNA.
      @_DNA. 6 лет назад

      thanks for your answer can you please give an example?also how can i sync 2x LFO's doing the same pulse.

    I thought this thing was overpriced but you would have to spend a fortune to get a Euro system this flexible and it wouldn't be realistically portable. Another one for the wish -list!

    • @tuesdaynightmachines
      @tuesdaynightmachines  10 лет назад

      True! It's a lot of money to pay at once for the Tinysizer, while you could spread out the investment over time, when buying separate Eurorack modules. But as you say, you'd spend a lot more money in the end for the features. I actually bought the Tinysizer first and then expanded it with Eurorack modules slowly.

    A good little synth with interesting beautiful possibilities of sound but a very poor patching system, bad contacts adding random resistance in the patching, cracks even if you touch lightly the cables patch.
    Small is beautiful but there is some limits, a patching system with 3,5 mm jacks and it was a great synth....

    • @tuesdaynightmachines
      @tuesdaynightmachines  9 лет назад

      +Philoupaulo 62 I must say that the patching system never bothered me at all :) In fact I find it very efficient. I also get cracks on my Eurorack system sometimes, but on the Tinysizer, the patch points are at least on the side, where you don't really come in contact with them.

    I can't take it anymore. In reviews they always self osc the filter and the bring the cutoff right up and keep it there for a fraction of a sec more. The human ear has a range of 20-20k Hz but it loses it overtime. The more reviews I watch the less annoying this gets. But in a certain patch where the highs ofthe sound are lower it will be a nice touch, but I know I won't be able to hear it anymore xP

    Too much small
    Bad system cable connections plenty of defective contacts
    Good synth when it works ...

      Did you own a Tinysizer? I’ve played with mine for over five years and never had a single issue with anything.
