- Cult of the Lamb Sins of the flesh is the latest update for Cult of the Lamb and while it may have taken awhile to cross the finish line it's pretty good.
Call me The One Who Waits because I’ve been anticipating each of these patches as they get announced, especially relics of the old faith, which added some sorely missing additions to the games dungeons.
It's come a long way, and it’s a game you have to activity try not to fall in love with. Between River Boys infectious sound track, dazzling color palettes, and the dangerously adorable villagers, you just can't take your eyes and ears off this thing. Although there was nothing that would leave a lasting gameplay impression, owed to the underwhelming combat loop and general feeling of being feature incomplete- it was very hard not to forgive it regardless.

I agree, CotL can't stand up to other games in its genre, like Hades for the roguelike--but it's a hybrid game. In order to make that work, you have to sacrifice a little quality in each genre to make them feel cohesive with each other and not make the game bloated or overwhelming. Either way, this is a good video that makes good points and recaps the update well!
I've been super hyped for this update, but the game has a tendency to freeze at random times (forcing me to restart the game and lose my crusade progress), preventing me from playing it. Not sure if this is an issue just on my end or not, but it makes me sad I can't truly experience one of my favorite games until a performance patch comes out.

4:42 One thing I hate about the loyalty system is how most of the things that loyalty is used for cap out at level 6 or so, so the villagers you've actually grown sentimental for and made your disciples aren't at all tempting to sacrifice, ascend or send out on missions.
God on mobile that transition from thumbnail to video is just... Smooth.

i like the simple combat it has.. for someone who has to balance, taking care of the house, work and life it self, it perfect for me.
I'd love if Massive Monster were to add co-op and cult invasions sort of like FOB infiltrations from MGS V for CotL to give further replay value as a more fun way to grind for materials.
And yes, I'd love to see a future video on Moonlighter from you, Boss Key!

Tbh, a multiplayer version would be great, or letting the ghosts of other lambs (players) visit your cult!
for real, you barely see any changes in the early game from this update
the only real change before unlocking the last region are new fertilizer types

Bruh the twitter page is amazing! But yeah I'm glad you can keep a good head when talking about the issues, I feel like the game should have more variety overall (Def with the cult management, let me battle dissenting members in a battle pit!) but I still love it to death.

If the game let you manage your cultists like rim world does and lets you bring them with you as cultists and not the monster things you turn them into. The rougelike part is a huge mistake for them, they should have just made rimword

Well I started playing Cult of the Lamb because of the Don't Starve Together crossover update, and I like how a boy trapped inside a spider can now make babies.

The music is soo good. I just got this for xmas so this update came just as I was able to use it. I really feel this is influenced by Binding of Isaac. The game is seriously addicting and the crusades get better post game with all the curses and weapon modifiers available.

They got multiple people banned and basically blocked them so that they could not pay for the game and people that are not even mods who caused a lot of drama, and I myself was not in the drama, but more of a victim because they spread it a lot of rumors and basically which hunted anyone that was involved
I swear I was going to do a video saying really really similar stuff. Basically, I agree. Good video. I'm just surprised that you didn't mention the follower level cap.
That Was a weird decision on their part
I think it was because demons were too strong at high levels, but I question why that kind of balance change is necessary when unlimited HP/fervour toggles exist.
