The hymn was written and composed by John Wright Peterson. Perhaps, his family holds the copyright for it.
I have loved this song from the time I was a teenager. Now at 75 years, the song remains as meaningful and fresh as in the 1960s. Yes, we do tread a path that is not easy, but with Jesus close to us, we have all the comforts we need to complete the course.
