We looked through the whole internet and found this amazing guide. The lower thread wheel didn't work and you showed it real good. You also showed where to place the threads while sewing and we nailed it. Im not really into this stuff but got real stubborn and watched your video step by step. Amazing help. Now my wife is happy:) Me also.

I bought this machine from amazon and almost returned it cos it seems to be jaming just almost when I start sewing. Watching this clip was all it took fo me to get it right and it's been an amazing experience. Thanks a lot
Mine is jamming too after several attempts to figure out on my own. No answer in this video for jam ups. Still a good video. There is nothing to really secure the bobbin and my presser foot is very wobbly...wonder if that's how everyone's is?

Just bought this for my daughter (nine years old) and was dreading teaching her how to use it. I am a first timer also and this video was so helpful that is got us sewing straight stiches right away. Your explanation of the process was great and she was able to do it all by herself. We would love some more videos using the machine on basic projects like a pillow case or some curtains.

@@mariejones5570 what do you mean? Is the bobbin thread not coming up? Check if you loaded the bobbin the right direction. If you still have the instruction book, I believe it has a section on trouble shooting but I could be wrong
Nice video! For sewing beginners: Raise the presser foot before threading your machine. This opens the tension disks so they can grip the thread. When the presser foot is down the tension disks are "closed" and you won't be able to thread them with your thread. I have had this machine for a couple of weeks now. I love it. Although it does not have a lot of space under the presser foot the machine handles multiple layers quite well. I've used this machine to make a quilted bag and several masks. My next project is cloth slippers with a beavy weight Sunbrella fabric for the sole and upper. We shall see how that goes! Any way I use this machine on my sailboat with a 12 volt electrical system. To do that I bought a 6 volt power cord with a 3.5 mm male plug on one end and a standard USB on the other and plug it into the 12 volt system with a car charger type USB plug. It works great! No need to use batteries or 110 electrical power. Perfect for boats, cars and R.Vs without using an inverter.

@@clintstar-world8655 hi! It is a good machine for small projects and not thick fabric. For me, it works for now, but when I need to sew thicker fabrics, the needle breaks. Sometimes the line coming below gets tangled. It is not a machine for working too much. The sewing velocity is also below those house machines from Singer and Elgin

Have you tried a different quality of thread? When I used the thread that came with the machine I had various issues, and so did my daughter. Also check the tension dial. What number is the tension dial currently on? Mine is usually on a 4 for the cotton fabrics I use.

I have had the same sewing machine for nearly 3 years and still cannot thread the needle, I didn't get a needle threader with mine so I went on to Amazon and ordered one with a light, I must admit your tutorial is the best one I have watched because it's the same machine, I will watch it again and again just so I have it right, as you can probably guess I have never had a sewing machine or used a sewing machine EVER, not even in school. Just used it for the first time and the needle came un-threaded. The instructions were not that great for this complete beginner with very bad eyesight!! However I searched on here and found your simple, but brilliant tutorial so thank you so much!!

Same. My machine was pre-threaded, but the thread snapped as soon as I tried to use it. The little instruction booklet was not clear enough for me, so this video was fantastic. Thank you

This was one the best tutorials I’ve watched in a long time!! It was very detailed and easy to understand! I have had a mini for a year. And I was so confused with how to rub my thread. My mom is a seamstress and she never taught me. I looked it up and I’m so glad to have found this!! ❤❤❤❤❤

@@clintstar-world8655 hi! It is a good machine for small projects and not thick fabric. For me, it works for now, but when I need to sew thicker fabrics, the needle breaks. Sometimes the line coming below gets tangled. It is not a machine for working too much. The sewing velocity is also below those house machines from Singer and Elgin

The timing wheel is off. You will need to make it accurately in sync with the needle.

Have you tried a different quality of thread? When I used the thread that came with the machine I had various issues, and so did my daughter. Also check the tension dial. What number is the tension dial currently on? Mine is usually on a 4 for the cotton fabrics I use.

I’m having issues with the bobbin! The needle is not bringing up thread from the bobbin. I’m making my letter P with bobbin thread, it’s just not grabbing it. Help!

Thank you so much. I have sewn before albeit many years ago and my hubby bought me this for Christmas. It kept knotting and sticking and he had it in bits trying to fix it. One short sentence from you and its fixed. DONT USE THEIR THREAD.Best bit of advice ive had for a while.I actually have 3 machines as he so wanted me to have one that worked for doing repairs. I have had the same sewing machine for nearly 3 years and still cannot thread the needle, I didn't get a needle threader with mine so I went on to Amazon and ordered one with a light, I must admit your tutorial is the best one I have watched because it's the same machine, I will watch it again and again just so I have it right, as you can probably guess I have never had a sewing machine or used a sewing machine EVER, not even in school. Thank you so much for this video. I have now successfully threaded and sewn some test stitches. The manual that came with mine was about as much use as a chocolate teapot! I will now be able to start making clothes alterations without having to spend hours hand sewing everything. 🩷🩷🩷

Just got this last week to make me some cloth feminine pads. It worked great on all the layers I had sewed together. I was a little confused about the type of thread. I thought I was going to have to buy the little mini spools of threads. So I’m glad I ran onto your video. Awesome!
