So I am the lucky recipient of the Glam Glow reward you showed in the stock photo from 2015. It cost Me 10k points (a good bit of which I earned the week prior to the rewards release when they were doing 4x points). It took 15 hours of my fiancé and I refreshing our cart and trying to redeem, when finally we were able to get the reward into our cart (at the time there were 3 trips: LA to meet Glam Glow, NY to meet MUFE, and Paris to meet Lancôme). Sephora paid for both of us to fly from KY to LA, 3 days stay at Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, $250 meal/drink credit for the hotel, car service, and a day at The Glam Glow headquarters which was a beautiful mansion in the Hollywood Hills that they refer to as "Glamland." We spent the day with the owners Glenn and Shannon, and several members of their team. The took us to lunch at Chateau Marimont, and we got facials and hung out at Glamland all day. I was the first person from the general public to get to try their Gravity Mud mask in the purple jar, they gave me a jar of that and their lip scrub and balm which was unreleased at the time. The also gave me their holiday book of glam which was their entire line of masks and cleansers that was selling at Sephora for holiday for $600. I ended up with doubles of all the products bc Sephora sent me the whole line before I went on the trip also. The free products alone were worth more than the $1500 I spent to get the points!! The trip was awesome, Sephora PR and Glam Glow were both so nice and really made us feel like VIPS!! My advice is to save your points as you may have end up getting an experience like mine. Don't forget about the Rouge events. My friends love when I invite them. We pick a different location every time for fun. P.S. I have definitely noticed this year that Sephora has sent out more coupons and offered more 2x the points than any other year I can think of. I'm a current Rouge and with 2 new Ulta's opening in my area (1 less than a block away, and the other has Mac products and a Makeup station), Sephora is showing that they're trying harder to compete.

Apparently, not all managers know this price matching policy. I had a 20% off even high end coupon from Ulta about 8 months ago and I mentioned it to the sales person at Sephora and she said they would be happy to give me 20% off my purchase since I mentioned having it. She said they dont advertise this but will do it if the costumer mentions having that coupon from Ulta. So I took her up on that deal and shopped away. THEN a month ago, I got another one and the sales person asked the manager and they said "no, we dont accept any other stores sales!" Ugggggh.... They are either not good at training, or some just dont want to do it.
I hate shopping at Ulta because of their return policy. Sephora I have to say is so good about returns. I just bought my first Natasha Denona palette and I'm not like blown away by it. I think I'm returning it. Used t once. Going to use it again tomorrow and if I'm not blown away I'm returning it. That is awesome about the price matching. The price matching is interesting and good to know but I think most people (not all) would rather get their Ulta points since they have such a better reward system.

Since the registers are different, can you return sephora products bought in a free standing store and a sjcp if you don't have a receipt and not be made to feel like you are a criminal. Also, for me it's the opposite-if ulta has it I would rather buy at ulta than sephora because of the points system. I'm just hoarding my points until the day they switch over. X

Well they should actually still give it to you! They won’t do it before your bday month but that can do it late if you miss it. If they say no ask for a manager. Our store always does it no problem.
What’s making me mad is I have enough points to qualify for the $100 gift card n this past Tuesday at 10:50am I got on the Sephora app n waited as soon as the option to redeem my points for $100 gift card popped up I clicked on it n the gift card shows up in my basket with a message saying it will take up to 24hrs for Sephora to email me a code in order to use the $100 gift card!!!! 1st time I waited 24hrs no gift card code from Sephora came to my email n I noticed in my Basket where it showed gift card now says sold out n b4 it didn’t so I emailed Sephora Customer Service whoever I talked to said they hav no idea what I’m talking about that there is no gift card code that’s sent to ur email that once u redeem ur points for gift card u hav to use it immediately so I was like ok!!!! This past Thursday at 10:50am I was on site waiting my Basket is ready soon as gift card option comes up I select it n go to use it and guess what it didn’t work nope it said I have to wait for Sephora to email me code which again never came!!! At this point I’m frustrated so I go n read rules n they state I have to wait for email but customer service is telling me that’s not true!!!! I’m so freakin confused now so if anyone has redeemed this gift card HOW DID U DO IT!!!!! Sephora’s points and discounts honestly suck. I might apply for the jc penny’s card because that might help with getting better discounts (thanks for that btw had no idea) but I don’t want to redeem my points for samples I can get for free at ulta! And 20 percent off for VIB is just crazy. Ulta does 20% off every other month. And I dislike how sneaky Sephora is. Get with it Sephora!

If they only have few gift cards that’s gonna b the worse points reward I have ever seen or do they only let certain ppl have them bc one Beauty RUclipsr said she redeems her points twice a week for $100 gift card if that’s the case I will redeem all my points n to hell with Sephora I’m going to Ulta who allows everyone to redeem points for $$$$!!!!!!!

Sephora’s points and discounts honestly suck. I might apply for the jc penny’s card because that might help with getting better discounts (thanks for that btw had no idea) but I don’t want to redeem my points for samples I can get for free at ulta! And 20 percent off for VIB is just crazy. Ulta does 20% off every other month. And I dislike how sneaky Sephora is. Get with it Sephora!
