The heat has been brutal in the valley. So glad we are finally getting a cool down. Wish I could take advantage of those cheaper tickets. No worries though...RIP tour next year! Just hope we don't get a week when its horribly hot. We tend to go closer to Halloween since that is my wedding anniversary. Great update and have a wonderful time on your trip.
@@JPland21 New York is pretty cool just be careful if you dont like traffic its not a good place to be in NYC but other than that ik you will have a great time and hopefully you get a lot from this experience
Totally true about the unpredictability of Express. I bought Express tickets AND early entry for our group of 9 back in the beginning of August for this past Sunday 9/8. We had no idea the heat was going to be that bad, so it kind of felt like we got ripped off since lines were nonexistent and we were dying the whole time. It also didn’t cross my mind that we could’ve switched dates and just payed the difference, but looking back I’m not sure that would’ve been granted since we were such a large group. Also, we did walk past you and were shocked that you chose to go on such a hot night. 😂
Jp 😂 “what is happening?!” Love the updates, I’ve been watching some of the horror nights ones and just skipping through the houses but I feel like I’m ready for tomorrow!! I hope one day I get to meet you 😁
track being installed next to escalators as we speak. This side will need to put track on lower supports before putting in taller supports. To make sure track isn’t damaged. Should see the dip out of the first launch going down and to the left installed this week. Then to the taller supports.
@@JPland21 i just forget everything from the houses the next day!! everything else i can remember perfectly besides the actual houses and i have to watch videos to recall them
Express and especially Rip tour for opening day is a complete waste of money. Early entry is all u need and did everything last yr without it on opening day too.
Great ratings of houses! The low guest turnout could be because people are not informed of the new schedule that added HHN events earlier than before. Also the heatwave was a factor. So if the hot temperatures were a factor, it also means people are not buying tickets in advance. But they are purchasing the day of the event. Traveling to NYC, I wish you safe travels. Enjoy the sights and the GB firehouse.
I agree, JP. I think the aesthetics are being prioritized over thrills and scares. Everything looks amazing but aside from the jump scares, it’s not really scary from an immersive perspective. Same with the food…aesthetic over taste and quality.
@@JPland21 i just left 12am thursday night/friday morning and i can say it was definitely more packed than last week so I believe the heat was definitely the reason why hhn had been lacking bit people opening weekend. It wasn’t that much tho almost all houses from what i saw were 30minutes to 1 hour long and I actually got 4 mazes done so not too bad. definitely going to get crowds on weekends and fridays

Yeah the heat is tough… it’s usually cooler here closer to Halloween! I’m a little nervous about NY, I’ve never traveled to a big city alone
@@JPland21 I’ve never been out of California so I have no worth while advice. Just be careful and don’t walk down an alleyway at night 👍🏻

Amazing Update. The Heat was definitely a big factor. Hopefully the crowd level increases soon this upcoming week
I hope it picks up, the scare actors need an ego boost to pick up their energy

Scared me!

For sure! I was at HHN Friday and Saturday and the heat was REAL it was still hot even at night. Definitely not a massive crowd but still super fun
Thursday was the worst- 98 at 12am 😫

Members only video finally
I’m trying to release the vids early for u guys :)
Hopefully it’ll be as good as Velocicoaster!
On opening night, the express line for texas was longer than general. I waited for 10-15 mins in express and the general line was a walk on.

i think the heat pushed a lot of people away
I like when JP gets BEEFY! lol
🤣
The barricade in the wind is crazy you sounded more scare then than in any hhn walkthrough ☠️
LOL
Have fun in New York
thank you!!
I have to work on my rating list for the houses☝️🤓
can’t wait to hear it

JP, was the wolf man area of the tram only for preview night?
it wasn’t, not sure why it was closed… 😕
Oof the heat 😣
it was rough!
4:01 it’s all cool. It’s only Casper the friendly ghost 👻
that was hella scary lol
I usually consider mazes like Ghostbusters or Monstruos more "theatrical" than scary. They're great to walk through and look at but def not scary.
a lot of the mazes this year are theatrical!
MORE DRIFTYYYYYYY!!
so hypeddd
Still waiting for the Texas chainsaw merch. Wonder if they will ever make them this time around.
Big fan jp
thank you!!
going on thursday ill be back to report how the crowd is since heat is finally gone
thank you! let me know how it goes!

Jp can I upgrade the free platinum ticket to frequent fear pass?
i don’t think so 🙃
Hopefully I didn’t waste money on buying the express pass this Thursday
you should be okay, i think it’ll be busier this week
Hi Jpland21 how are you doing today
good! you?
