Truth is Cameroon and Nigeria are one people divided by a border. I'm a Cameroonian and we love Nigerians. Don't forget that Cameroon is the only country in the world hosting the highest number of Nigerians
Wowwwww I was reduced to tears when I first watched this video. It brought back memories of when I used to be in this “okada” business. I didn’t get the chance to cross the bother to Nigeria from Cameroon but I’ve traveled across family routes. Watching now makes me understand the risks that are involved in this types of business considering we carry far more luggage than the bike is designed for.
Borders are just on paper. I remember I cross from kebbi to malavine in Benin republic and across Niger republic some years back on okada. The borders are porous everywhere. But the experience was exciting, much scenery. Noboby gives you a wink when these "locals" are carrying you
I salute these fellows; let us please not refer to them as "smugglers". To hell with these borders which were arbitrarily drawn by Europeans without consulting the indigenous people. Love from South Africa.
"without consulting the indigenous people" How is that to be done? Nigeria reportedly has 300 spoken languages. "Nigeria is a multinational state inhabited by more than 250 ethnic groups speaking 500 distinct languages, all identifying with a wide variety of cultures." (Wikipedia) Yes, the Europeans created the borders to separate European colonies. These borders mean little to the hundreds of different tribes that occupy these lands. So who were you planning on asking?
More grace! The landscape is amazing. Bur one thing I observe is that there is no government there, and it's kind of sad that someone is holding back growth on this communities
All Nigeria borders are very porous, the petrol stations in the towns by the borders sell more petrol to the neighboring countries than to Nigerians. These are subsided petrol been smuggled out of the country.
Traveling restrictions among African countries need to be removed. When the goods transported are of no danger to human health they must be allowed to move freely without enduring such hardship as could be seen here. The road in the first place is not even good, the villages are in a very horrific condition but the people intermingle peacefully among themselves. So why, not legalize what they are doing when African nations could not provide these for them? Africa wake up and own up to your responsibility. Removing the borders would reduce poverty by 40%. It will even make the people to promote harmony, unity, peace and progress of the African countries.
Waoh David, so pleasing hear you sa Miyetti (Thanks in Fulfulde). We more like you in today's Nigeria, that everything about Fulani is evil. Your's is a sign of being Detribalized. Awesome. Brother. I actually had some of the best times with my Fulani friends and family in the north, most of the experience i documented and uploaded already on the channel. We are one people, we are only been divided by evil politics and politicians

You are truly an explorer. In my opinion, Africa shouldn't have been divided into countries but by region...let's say NEWS Africa. This is the part of Nigeria or Africa not seen and this shows their other ways for us to make money not only on petroleum. The government needs to do better to make that happen. Thank you for showing us your experience.
I felt sorry for driver when you started singing.😅 He had no where to run. Range Rovers are perfect for Nigeria’s terrain. Surprised there aren’t a lot. You can run kidnappers over. Don’t mind me. 😂
Very well done brother. You’re doing a great job! God bless and protect you IJN. I just have a suggestion for you. wonderful job my brother, fuel price in cameroon is like 700 naira per litre in nigeria like 200-400 per litre the smuggling business is very very profitable ,
Nigeria borders are too porous and as you rightly pointed out, the porous borders particularly in the Northern part of the country is responsible for the unending security challenges we have as a country. One can see how petrol is smuggled across the borders it really sad. The govt of both country could establish a highway between the two countries which will in turn further trade and secure those places, but as usual the govt lack the Will to do it. Great video 👏👏👏
Please someone should educate me, I use to think from nigeria to Cameroon you have to pass calabar, didn’t know you can also use taraba, someone should explain
If you check the Map, Nigeria borders Cameroon on the Eastern part of the Country. Cameroon is far more accessible by road from Nigeria in the northeastern part, than the southern part, through Calabar. The Federal Ministry of works led by Hon. Minister Babatunde Raji Fashola just completed the construction of a bridge, linking a village in a local Government in calabar to Cameroon.
North Nigeria was part of British colonial territory called British Northern Cameroon along with Southern Cameroon which borders Calabar in Nigeria. Northern Cameroon voted in a referendum to join Nigerian while Southern Cameroon joined Cameroon, which currently in conflict. Both British Northern Cameroon (now Northern Nigeria) and British Southern Cameroon (now with French Eastern Cameroon) were under British colonial rule prior to October 1961. Take a look at the map of Cameroon right from Far Northern West to Southern West, then align it with Nigeria map you will understand it better. Thanks
