Neither party was innocent, but don't put all the blame on Jessica. Nick was 26 and she was 18 when they got together, it was a weird power dynamic and their relationship was very toxic.

It’s interesting to see so many comments about Jess being “the one that got away” for Nick, or “he’ll never be over her, and Vanessa knows that.” But he treated Jess like complete shit. He treats Vanessa (from a public standpoint at least) with respect, dignity and compassion, none of which he ever showed Jess. My point being, I don’t think one can truthfully say someone they treated like that was “the one that got away” or “the one hell never be over” He literally PUSHED her away, consciously or unconsciously. Just my honest opinion. I really love Jess, not a big fan of Lachey, he’s always seemed super douchy and flat.
