Your versatility is what keeps me coming back for more. hmmmm I wonder what it would take to make you reprise your smokin Man in the Box cover???? lol
As a fan of both Mr. Cook & Mr. Johnson, they both definitely have their own styles. But they are BOTH clearly rockers. Caleb does need to watch some of David's concert videos to see that he is "more than one thing", but certainly a rock star, too. I don't think the comments are meant to belittle David Cook or that Caleb is cocky. I think he's just unfamiliar with David's body of work. Let's not forget that during David's season, most true rock songs did not have clearance to be performed, nor did they fit the narrow themes. Also, David's albums, and especially songs released to radio, are undeniably more "pop rock" in style. So the general public doesn't know how hard Mr. Cook can rock!
Caleb doesn't know what he's talking about. If he claims that David isn't a "real" rocker well then he's not either lol. What's more important is that David is a "humble" rocker while Caleb is not.

He's coming to my state in November. I would LOVE to see Man in the Box again. Or these songs would be just as great.
