Depends if you want to play games. If you want take a device with a dedicated GPU like the gtx1650. If you just want to use it for work you can buy one with just an APU like the 5700U. Systems without dedicated gpu have got a longer battery duration.
I'd say Valorant and DotA 2 will be running totally fine. You won't have any disadvantages performance-wise compared to other systems. That's important for E-Sport titles. But for CS:GO I don't like the performance of AMD APUs. You'll get 70+FPS but that's not a perfect performance for this game. If you're ok with playing with a little handicap in CS:GO you can go with the APU. Else I'd buy a system with a dedicated GPU instead. I've to add one thing: If the 5800U is affordable for you, it has got a way better performance in CS:GO because it's already produced in an updated manufacturing process. The 5700U is still zen 2 the 5800U is already zen 3 resulting in a way better single core performance. That's important for CS:GO.

Do you think that could be a good deal? I use the laptop basically with mid gaming like Rocket league, Minecraft and i use it also for music editor programs like FL studio and also for Photoshop. Does the GPU take its needed 2GB of memory from the system memory or does it have its own dedicated 2GB memory, and doesn't touch the total amount of installed RAM? In other words, should I always subtract 2GB from my total installed memory? for e.g. if I have 16GB then it's actually 14GB, or if I have 32GB then it's actually 30GB?
There is no dedicated vram..it's taking the needed amount AUTOMATICALLY of your normal ram. Minimum 512gb in Windows sessions and up to 2gb during gaming. So subtract at least 512mb and max 2gb.

They've both nearly the same 3d power. However the 5700u is faster cpu wise. Modern ryzen CPUs have no problem running esport titles because their heat development is way lower than in previous generations.
Will this graphic card and processors work smoothly if we use some of the engineering design software like solidworks and auto cad and do some gaming like the one's shown in the video ?? Also nice work brother 💯, keep up the good work 👍
Hi, could you please help me deciding what should I get? I want the laptop only for Photoshop and Capture one pro, i don't do video editing. I have two choices, Intel i7 11th generation with 16gb ram and Geforce MX 450 GPU va AMD Ryzen 7 5700u with Radeon Graphics. I am confused because extra gpu in Intel with 4gb memory will be good for photoshop on the other hand Ryzen 7 has 8 cores plus 16 threads and efficiently optimize the battery of the laptop.
Honest answer: Didn't like it actually. You know the fps values might seem sort of OK but the game just didn't feel fluent. I think a system that is a ble to provide stable 60 fps is way better for playing warzone. The 5700U might be ok to test this game out but I wouldn't suggest using this system for playing warzone on a regular basis. Something like a gtx1650 ti or better would deliver a way better experience in this game.
This is single channel ram if you have dual channel like my HP with the same CPU , you will get decent bit more performance, as well as More FPS (still impressed by the performance in this video tho)
that's pretty easy to read. Next to D3D11 is the current fps number. FPS avg means average fps number during the whole clip. And fps 1% low means the 1% lowest fps value of the recorded clip.
Would u recommend hp pavilion 5500u blue in color or the hp pavilion 5700u blue also from Walmart for under 650 for work and the sims 4 plus all expansions and custom content
The 5700u is faster in games than the 4600h Display is always a personal favor. They're both pretty similar. However I'd choose the 5700u over the 4600h
No it was never meant to play games like Warzone on this multimedia device. The performance is way too low to run Warzone at an adequate gaming experience. However NBA is going to run fine.
I didn't get it, I have Ryzen 7 5700u with integrated AMD Graphics and the game shows that I have 512 mb and here on the videos is 8gb. can someone pls explain what's difference?
I am concerned if streaming while playing these games can affect the performance of the laptop in the long run. Because i read that U processors are low power processors.
It's definitely not a gaming machine. But that should be clear when buying an office/multimedia device. However I still see it powerful enough to handle those titles even while streaming.

Somehow I have concluded to go with Lenovo IdeaPad slim 5 with ryzen7 5700u but only constraint is that it doesn't have nvidia graphics , it comes with integrated amd Radeon ...... i have a lenovo ideapad 3, bought it yesterday and when i start playing valorant or another games with a lot of informations, the screen starts to tearing. someone is with this same problem?
There is literally 0mb dedicated vram. It's taking 512mb up to 2gb of your normal ram as vram. This happens AUTOMATICALLY. Nothing for you to worry about. Easy life. The graphics is simply called Radeon graphics since Ryzen generation 4. There no more Vega naming.
The 5600 has zen3 compared to 5700u that has zen2. Does that mean it could have better gaming performance from integrated graphics? And if so, how much?

The 5700U is a fairly decent product for your usecase. No matter that manufacturer you're going to buy. Does anyone gets 60fps at Full HD at GTA? How? I have 20gb of RAM and I don't reach it, the best for me is use 1600x900, it mixes quality and flow, and even like this, doesn't reach 60fps.
I bought the same computer than the one you did the test with but when i launch gta v, my video memory is stuck at 1024 mb and it's the same for all my games. How did you manage to have 7867 mb? Thanks for the video :)
Well the reason why 7867mb is shown in my video simply is that GTA v is unable to read our the correct amount of vram since there is 0mb of dedicated vram. Radeon graphics is just taking 512mb up to 2gb of your normal ram as vram. This happens AUTOMATICALLY. Nothing for you to worry or care about. Easy life. I didn't find it being mentioned, so I need to ask.
Was this done using only the 'onboard' GPU of Ryzen 7 5700U, or there was a dedicated GPU?
In the description it says that the tested product is "Lenovo Thinkpad-T14 Gen2", but I looked up there seems to be multiple variants of this model available on Lenovo website, with and without dedicated GPU as well. So I couldn't figure it out.
This test has been done only using the onboard graphics called Radeon graphics.

I wonder which one will perform better between Ryzen 7 new gen 5700u with its integrated graphic and 8gb RAM or
Core i5 new gen 1135g7 with Iris Xe and 8gb RAM?
I am currently in search for laptop with decent peformances for working and games (CS Go, PES/Fifa, and a bit of DOTA2) hope anyone can help me with the suggestions.
You should definitely buy one with a dedicated GPU and 16GB RAM.
Kalau sama sama integrated ambil yang ryzen, kalau mau dedicated ambil Intel
Did you find out which one is better?
R7 series is made to measure with I7 series, so I guess it probably performs a lot better than the i5 11th gen.
I chose the ryzen solution. Ill see.
Please does the cpu that ends with "U" get damaged when used for heavy gaming and prolonged as well.
What about The witcher with this configuration? I noticed 5700U 8GB single-channel had a very bad performance compared to the 1215U on this same game and I can't understand why.

Thank you!
Depends if you want to play games. If you want take a device with a dedicated GPU like the gtx1650. If you just want to use it for work you can buy one with just an APU like the 5700U. Systems without dedicated gpu have got a longer battery duration.
It looks like the performance is basically the same as the 4700U, good to know!
Yes it's only 10-0% faster.
Hey, would lenovo ideapad 3 (ryzen 7 5700u with integrated graphic) runs games like, valorant, dota 2 or csgo okay?
Aight, thanks for your help :)
HI, I have the same config (Ryzen 7 5700U \ Radeon Graphics) , youtube 8k Videos lagging. Is that normal? Is it stuttering at you too? Thanks in advance for the answer

For those usecases it's good enough. However you might consider upgrading your system to 16GB later on. Also for the dual channel performance boost.
@@CRSTNBENCH Thank you so much for reply, have a great day and keep the great work !!
Did you put the charger in while doing this and optimized the laptop? 😅
Obviously charged
