Just got one my old one started to go after 4 yrs of commercial use. I went to my local shop and they told me this was the best one they had. Hope it lasts and does a good job! I like it so far.
I REALLY LIKE HOW EASY IT IS TO REPLACE THE TRIMMER LINE ! I AM GOING TO GET THAT SRM-2620 TRIMMER ! THANKS FOR THE VIDEO ! WOULD HAVE NEVER KNOWN ABOUT THIS TRIMMER IF NOT FOR YOU !
LONIE DAVIS ...it's great....mine is 3 years old and no jams....srm225
GREAT show Taryl as always
I bought a Stihl FS-76 back in 1993 and its never failed me yet.I bought it with the automatic feed head on it and when it gets too short,it automatically feeds the .095 line out to the proper length without stopping the engine at all.Its been so dependable Tayrl that the spark plug lasted up till just this past fall.(24 years of trimming 14 acres of property)
I use Amsoil 2-cycle oil in it mixed 80-t0-1.(2.0 ounces to the gallon)
I still have my 2002 shindaiwa and that thing is still a beast❤. I upgraded to the speed feed on that one, and its a life saver
I have about 2 yrs experience with that speed feed head its great. I love demonstrating how to fill it to my customers. they so far haven't failed
Good to hear!
Oh, that srm 2620 trimmer is so sweet! 🤗🤗🤗🤗. The best trimmer in the world! 👍👍👍😎😎😎
I love the way you put the caption, " Boat oar not included" ha...Someone will actually believe it was...there is that someone out there! Lately, I have been besides myself with despair and depression, it's putting me in a very bad place, Thankyou Taryl for your great nature and entertainment, I love watching your videos, I watch them over and over sometimes.
Nice Strimmer . Love the speed feed head.
Had Echo SRM 140 Great Trimmer Later bought Echo GT also very pleased I remember people snickering at Echo glad they were proven wrong
really like the quick line loading head feature.
I have used my 2620 for 1 year now and it's been an absolute beast! And I use it commercial 6 to 7 days a week the thing just goes like stink! I have cut massive grass with it too.
Best trimmer out atm in my opinion 👌
love you videos man and I have the srm 225
I have an Echo SRM 2400 older grey one best trimmer ive ever used. Have a 1/4 acre of steep lawn i trim takes 1/2 the time of anything else ive used and of yeah got it for free and fixed it.
spot on.. nice review..
I might get one next year Echo SRM 2620
Love that trimmer head
Father had a weedeater brand trimmer. Took care of it. Emptied the fuel out of it after every use ran it out of fuel. Had it for like 10 or 12 years. Just died last season
I like Echo in general. I've got a trimmer, backpack blower and the "Timberwolf" chainsaw which easily keeps pace with my Stihl. Echo makes good stuff...probably not as heavy duty as some of the Stihl...but then again, they're half the price for an almost equivalent tool in some cases.
Hi Taryl i have this trimmer myself and i love it it's like a handheld lawn mower i use .105 ECHO black diamond line and VP fuel mixed with red armor oil. I highly recommend this trimmer to anyone we have Johnson grass around here i use .130 line for that
That's a nice machine. I just might have to get me one!
I love mine.
like that speed feed
I think it might just be time for an upgrade from my old echo to that one, it's so much quicker and easier to refill the string line.
Thanks Taryl.🍺
Bought a Shindaiwa T-260 some 25 years ago, still runs great as of yesterday. I did have to rebuild carb, and also put on a line head same as the echo comes with. That echo looks nice. I believe my trimmer costs at the time around 450.00, hated to pay so much, but now 25 years later Im glad I did. What do you think about small 12 inch gas Echo chain saws, I need to carry it with me into the trees. Stilh used to have a great, small one , Now they sell one thats seems not as good, tho I like and have alot of there equipment.
Virtually similar to my Shindawa which is owned by Echo. They’re great engines and equipment.
It is the same, just different handles pretty much.
Heck yeah!!
Seems like a nice trimmer and I really like the speed feed spool, but from what I see it doesn't slice through that tall grass like the string trimmer attachment on my Stihl KM 130 R.
I just found one of these at a yard sale for TWENTY BUCKS! Can’t wait to fire it up.
Hey Taryl, Do a commercial for the Shammy!
OMG I wish I would of seen this before I bought mine
my srm200 is edging on 40 years old still going strong hahah
I've still got the power head off of the one that my parents bought when I was a kid, in 1984.
I can still fill it and pull it, and it fires right up!
Great for out of control weeds or commercial use. For home owner use I like my EGO and line replacement is way faster and easier than the ECHO.
Hey Taryl love you videos. I think it would be a good idea to do more revews of lawn equipment that way people could see what's the best for your buck. btw that spool head looks fantastic
We do have more to come!
Taryl Fixes All that is sweet thanks for what you do
You're welcome. Plenty of dinner coming each Sunday at 9 am central!
You need to use a tooth guard you don't want to damage your nice grill. Good video.
My next one gonna be the echo 58volts 5 amps fo sure. Not a good deal for you in repare business but for customer it is :P
I would like to see a video on an old YR 48 Yazoo mower.
That is a great trimmer head. I hate all these aftermarket heads, and the factory heads arent a lot better. Hopefully this method of spool loading takes off.
Just bought it and thought, who can give me a good review of this trimmer?, Why not get it from someone with a beautiful smile?
I have the 3020 😁 she's nice too! No Skelton or doggie included ☠️🐩
Does it do those attachment dohickies, where you pop off the trimmer head and put on a chainsaw or edger or whatever? I got my dad a trimmer that does that - really neat.
Yes, Echo has what they call their PAS (Pro Attachment Series) system. I have one and it's great. I like Echo stuff. I also own other brands, so I'm not in a bubble.
Would have been interesting if someone posted the price back then 7 years ago. I bet it costs 100$ more today.
I have one of those 2 which are always easy to do🚓✈️🚜🚛
Nice review Taryl . Does that sweet trimmer head fit on a stihl. That's a great idea , I bet husky and stihl don't like echo eating their dinner. 😂😂🍺🍺
i think stihl has one like that too. check there product line.
FishFind3000 thanks buddy I will. Cheers
STEVE ROB go to your nearest lawnmower shop they'll have it. If not somebody will and they usually have the different nuts and spacers inside the packet but you must get the correct directional one for your machine which is just either standard or reverse thread inside.
Echo has been around a long time. They have always made good stuff. Best kept secret in the industry. They have, at times, led the industry in engine research and development. They run for a long time and very clean, for a two-stroke. Simple construction too; for ease of service. There are a lot of other machines too, but for economics, they're pretty hard to beat.
Thats a nice weed wacker!
I really lie Echo st8uff. I've seen it worn to a frazzle and still run strong. That's what I have and it's my dinner too, without the boat paddle and I'll keep the bulldog.
2620 or t302?.hmmm
i stick to husqvarna. prooven for a loong long time.
I'm a fan /laugh all time as I click like!....All brands have ...cheep/ medium/expensive ......my sthil broke and I borrowed neighbors echo .. finish my job ! :>).. was both expensive model,...fs 55r I had ..7 yrs commercial work... I baby that thang! over 200 skillsaw blades went through it! cutting up to 4inch trees a lot times. 2 carbs....2 air filter/...10 spark plugs.....4 feul filter...2 sets cables ......now it no compression/ and I think valve bent....oooh how I gonna miss you fs 55r (,)(,)
Uhh, no valves In 2 strokes goofy
Nice trimmer. The easy load head is great. Either it will fail or all the trimmers will have them. Time will tell. Going to be hard to bump Stihl out of #1. Come back in 2 years with a follow up vidya and tell us what you really think. doug
Commercial property maintainers use them, they really are great heads.
Where's the featherlite weed eater
Do you have to break it in
of course
Has some nice features, especially the solid trigger. But the over-styling is silly, not pro.
Nice Whippa Snippa !! nice whippa snippa, nice whi...... Hey it's the ECHO....lol.Hey, can anyone tell me the right way to load up cord on a Stihl FS 55 RC? I borrowed it from my Dad, last week, it has this auto feed bullshit, I'm not sure how to reload cutting cord onto the twin spool. It tells you the direction, that's ok, but it has a wire bail on each side that I'm not sure about. First attempt, the cord just flew out and vanished,,,lol.

Idk I respect your knowledge and opinion but I still prefer my husqvarnas, the speed feed head I'm not really a big fan of
Cameron Crane ....had mine 3 years...NEVER had a jam....srm230....and it will fill in 2 minutes.
Roger Lund I did commercial mowing in Texas, usually we used stihl and then echo then back to stihl but now I'm running my own stuff so I use husqvarna
Cameron Crane ... have a Merry Christmas Cameron.........
And where's your hearing protection? !!!
2small4me
What’s a life worth to the military anyways haha
When you cant get a real dog
I have one, junk. Trigger grip is horribly uncomfortable, trigger itself hard to pull, throttle hangs wide open sometimes, heavy for a 25cc trimmer, pull rope is extremely hard to pull, has cheap chinese carburetor, fasteners are all cheap and corrode quickly, knobs on air filter are a pain to access and there are two instead of one, has flimsy cable drive instead of steel. If used in hard commercial environment, (such as myself,) it will eat a spark plug or two every season.
Redmax, Husqvarna, and Maruyama all offer lighter, more comfortable, more powerful, better quality trimmers at the same price point.
The FS94 Stihl is lighter and much more comfortable, about the same amount of power as the 2620, it is only marginally better in build quality. While Stihl has better plastics and fasteners, it uses the same chinese carburetor.
Looks heavy
they are light
Wish they would stop changing the heads and how to load the string.
it"s a weedwacker not an I-phone..:)
It was something echo added to the market to make it easier, commercial businesses are adopting them too.
I don't like echo
