I've never felted before but, I am glad this video popped up in my suggested list... Ironically koalas happen to be one of my favorite land animals.... Thank you all... I now have a new hobbie for my down time during this social distancing lock down....

Hi. I'm new at this and am making the Koala head today - I have struggled with the size of the ears - I have made one and the shape is fine but it is too big - what is the best way to reduce the size or do I have to start again? Thank you xx
Can you trim it? much of the outer edges of the will be furry and will not show a great deal :)

This was a fabulous tutorual. I have been felting for 6 years and I learned so much that I have been trying to figure out on my own and Marie Spaulding just taught it all to me in one hour. @@LivingFelt Wishful thinking on my part. I guess now I can make the koala head and be ready for tomorrow. I had hand surgery last week and I think that felting would be a good substitute than my exercises! Will post a pic if I get it done.

Koalas aren’t bears and their pupils are a vertical slit like a cat. Weird huh?
