- Sure its a little hungover and sloppy, but this is a pretty good illustration of why Uncle Larry doesn’t use Kempers and Fractals and all that modeling horseshit. He likes it loud and raunchy, that land where the speakers and the pickups are united in total solidarity.

Roger Fisher..........I saw them in the 70's a few times and Roger had a Les Paul into a Marshall stack full blast, in the clubs. Uncle Larry nails it !

GAH! Oh how I love this tune and the incredible Tetris of guitar parts in it. Good God. I have to say that this era of Heart is kind of my gold reference when I'm working on a record. You're nailing both the spirit and the letter, as usual. And your pickups sound happy.
I was going to post almost the same thing when saw this. The slightly off time forward and backward interplay and the deep deep pocket of those early Heart tunes...

Great stuff! Took a look at the lineup for Wacken. I must be behind the times in the names of popular metal bands. The name "Rotting Christ" cracked me up. Then, I thought about how funny "Ann Wilson and Rotting Christ" would be for a band name.
Joined back in the Corona lessons period. ( & cheers for that🤜) … and once again… post after post.. when u think this can’t possibly get any better… we see this.. awesome guys… maybe this is a normal day for you but it’s mind blowing to see how it’s done day to day . So much respect & Thanks.

HaHaHa Tracy Chapman. That's what I do at band practice all the time - break into something totally irrelevant to everyone else except me, but then the instrument players get into it. The singer usually doesn't.
That whole thing sounds so good. Like velvet on the eardrums. No modeling amps, no Kemper, no Helix, no Fractal. Just old tubes and the right pedals. OMG, I just wrote that before reading Uncle Larry's preface. I must be getting something out of this.
