From colossal power plants to bullet trains and bridges almost as tall as two Eiffel towers, since the early 2000s the Chinese government started to finance these megaprojects. the purposes of these ambitious endeavors were both to boost the economy and to provide people with the latest, most technological advanced facilities, as well as offering an ever-increasing number of jobs.
