Good looking shocks. I am impressed with the fox shocks that came from the factory with my JT Rubicon. I was leaning towards getting Falcon 3.3's but maybe I need to consider the Fox 2.5 as a good option as well. I really love the adjustabilty for switching from on and off road.
2.5's installed on my 2021 JL Rubicon, Love them. Never had any issues wiyh them at all. IMO, better than Falcon's and more tunable than Kings. Good Video
So what happens if you only go one click why does it have to be three clicks? And you said one or two clicks you may not feel any difference that maybe a deal-breaker for me reviews say the Falcon 3.3 SP2 you will feel a difference even after one click.
@@Robstunner I hear you. I have the Fabfours stubby and they sit just behind it. I've not heard about anyone damaging them but I suppose it can happen. It is a long tube and they can be placed elsewhere.
These are on the higher performance end of the spectrum and come from their race side. One big difference between the Fox and the Falcon is terminology. When Fox says 2.5 or 3.0, they mean the body diameter (2.5" & 3"). The bigger the body, the larger the internal piston, which will give you better tunability when going faster with a heavier vehicle. The Falcon 2.1 and 3.3 designations are what model they are. Both of those models shocks are 2.25" in diameter.
I've installed it on my 2020 JL Sport, what's the best adjustment for daily drive? my back is killing me and I've set low and high speed all the way open.
I was thinking on getting these over the Falcons. You said your back is killing you are these not good for daily driving? Your comment may have swayed my decision.
@@hakenkreuz7076 its definetly not for daily driving, but to be honest it really depends what your previous is? for me I used to drive a Range Rover HSE, of course that's a big difference regarding comfort
Both Fox and King are great manufacturers, you can't go wrong with either. That said, these 2.5 race series shocks are the latest and greatest out from Fox, so we wanted to be the first to try them on a Gladiator.

Thanks for the setting instructions there are none nowhere i got some 2.5 with dsc for my ram 2500
@northridge4x4 do you know the torque specs for the front shock upper bolts? Thank you!

It is just a sense of feel. Some people are really sensitive to small shock changes, many people are not.
Hey did the rear shocks ever get released? I don’t see them on your site. Thanks!
Awesome really doesn't capture this sea to summit build... Epic build perhaps..?
I'm loving what your doing to my gladiator. LOL
Do you need to change the factory installed springs with the new dampening and forces?
If you are going to go up to the Fox 2.5s, it would be best to upgrade the OE springs to an aftermarket lift spring.
The reservoir should be facing the front according to the fox instructions that came with my 2.5 factory race series. You installed them backwards..
We installed our according to the instructions we had at the time of the video. There may have been a change.
Man I wish fox would have come out with a better way to mount that front resi
What's wrong with that mount?
@@Michael_00001 I don't like how its a 2ft hose and it mounts near the bumper. With some stubby bumpers it sticks out a lot, worried about damage.

They leak and the adjustment knobs gets clogged making it difficult sometimes
Any concern with that resi hose getting pinched by sway bar? It looks inevitable
We flexed it out and didn't see any issues.
