As far as i know (may be i am wrong) super steady mode crops a larger recording area to a smaller area to keep the video on screen steady, thus loosing video quality. Idea is, imagine a video recording area and draw a much more smaller rectangle on it. The rectangle represents your view area ( the phone screen). Now start gently shaking the video by moving your phone. Actually you are shaking that rectangle. In order to keep video steady, bigger area (which you cannot see, because it is off limits of your screen) start adjusting by moving and trying to keeping whole area synchronized with the small rectangle. So, actually your camera records more area than it is reflected to you. But there is a quality limit for what your camera can record. By cropping it, actually you are getting a part of it on your screen. Thats why you are losing quality. Better not use super image stabilisation while comparing. Just use only optical image stabilisation which both the phones have. Tye other one(super smooth thingy) is just a software processing. I want to add one more thing, multiple camera phones, if they are not flagships (maybe not all but some) are not processing image shot through wide angle cameras well. I dont understand this untill it comes to money issues. So the quality you can find from the main camera and the wide angle camera may differ very much. Companies are providing that behind the scene uber super duper software processing power to all cameras only in their flagships :( :( :(

Personally observed, portrait mode is better than iphone but video quality is very low when you watch the video it is completely washed out , while iphone has true colors and even pixels of video does not go away when you zoom in iphone while samsung video is bad when zoomed in

I don’t care what people say and I don’t care about the numbers that back it up, iPhones will ALWAYS have better cameras to me. Androids seem to take over-saturated and blurry photos. Even older iPhones take better photos than the newest Galaxy or Huawei.
Why no one is talking about the front camera of the Note10 lite? Are all these videos paid? I got mine on 4th of Feb and it's front camera is HORRIBLE!!! It clicks like a 5000/- phone, and dont even think about low light selfie. Not at all a fairly priced phone!
@@doch9376 hey, I understand what you are saying. But all this will work when the picture quality I mean details are there. Then I can manipulate it in snapseed which I always use. But when the picture is all soft and smudgy, with zero details, you are not really left with many choices. Trust me the front camera of this phone clicks like a budget phone. I have used it for 4days, thaught it might be a faulty one, so opted for a replacement but luckily Amazon didn't have the same piece with them right now so got my full money back. And I am so glad that I got my money back.

I asked for a replacement. But the one I bought, the aura glow varient that was out of of stock. Amazon offered me a full refund. So I just got lucky.

You shouldn't have used super steady mode during night since it uses the wide angle lens and has lower quality on low light
