we need you to do a rate the bait but for rods.....most of us non pro fisherman only want 3 rods. yall need to do us a video for if you can only have three rods what would they be...love your vids...
Do you mean like lengths and actions or brands or even specific rods?
If you could only buy three rods. What 3 rods would you get. Not brands but lengths power and action but only 3 total.

Mark, this video was very informative. You are extremely good at explaining how to use and fish these different techniques. I was in Southern California from 1969 to 1994 and I also used the Dee Thomas flipping technique. Mark can you please tell us your thoughts on the new way MLF is going to be run starting in 2025. What is going to happen to all the anglers who are not in the top 50? It just doesn’t make any sense to me how they can convince you guys to go with them and then they do this to you. Flippin is my favorite way of catching bass! All my PB’s have come from flippin. Pulled a 10lber out of heavy cover and it was crazy!!! Keep up the great content homie!

Great video Mark. I practiced on hardwood floors helps with skipping I also used a 2” pvc pipe cap, rarely is the target that small on the water so no pitch is too intimidating lol. Under dock ropes and cables you name it. I’m ambidextrous from drumming 45 years. You don’t seem to miss many pitching right handed and switching. They usually hang on to the bug, (also my main bait).

Mark, great video. Great tips. I will use them. I have the right bait but not the right rods. I will go buy them. That line is expensive!!
Jig fishing for sure. Saved up and bought my first H/F jig specific rod. What’s a good pound test to start with ? I bought the rod for full size jigs 7/16ths - 5/8ths to pitch into wood, downed trees, the occasional dock I came across.
Are there any of your Signiture Series Kistler M.A.D Rods still around? Always good to see a Golden Tiger doing big things. Keep Grinding!

Great video MDJ! Is pitching your favorite technique? I'm still working on the silent entry thing, and it's hard for me to pitch the bait unless it's at least a quarter ounce with a soft plastic bait/trailer.
Mark, are you using a snell knot with that straight shank hook?
When you flip grass and are using braid, do you still use a florocarbon leader?
For those of us that are new to flipping, what’s is one rod that would cover most scenarios to get started with?
What kind of grips do you use on those rods

@8:35 ahhh I see. The gear ratio is literally too high to handle the large amount of torque that it will take to pull the fish through.
