we need you to do a rate the bait but for rods.....most of us non pro fisherman only want 3 rods. yall need to do us a video for if you can only have three rods what would they be...love your vids...
Mark, this video was very informative. You are extremely good at explaining how to use and fish these different techniques. I was in Southern California from 1969 to 1994 and I also used the Dee Thomas flipping technique. Mark can you please tell us your thoughts on the new way MLF is going to be run starting in 2025. What is going to happen to all the anglers who are not in the top 50? It just doesn’t make any sense to me how they can convince you guys to go with them and then they do this to you. Love you MDJ God bless. 🎣🦆🦃🦌
Flippin is my favorite way of catching bass! All my PB’s have come from flippin. Pulled a 10lber out of heavy cover and it was crazy!!! Keep up the great content homie!
Love the videos MDJ!! Just a jon boat trolling motor guy myself.I would love to see a video for shallow water setup bank beatin video.I usually have a flippin stick, soft plastic jerkbait, and a wacky worm. What would you throw cruizin down a bank?
Keep them Videos coming MJ. I'm a little worried on these new Rule's for 1025 for those that made the switch from BASS, THEN FLW selling out to MLF. I got your back ❤
Awesome Video....I just spent a week on Lake Guntersville and caught my first punching Bass...Loved It!!! We don't do much of that here on Lake Murray South Carolina
Great video Mark. I practiced on hardwood floors helps with skipping I also used a 2” pvc pipe cap, rarely is the target that small on the water so no pitch is too intimidating lol. Under dock ropes and cables you name it. I’m ambidextrous from drumming 45 years. You don’t seem to miss many pitching right handed and switching. They usually hang on to the bug, (also my main bait). Peace and God Bless
Jig fishing for sure. Saved up and bought my first H/F jig specific rod. What’s a good pound test to start with ? I bought the rod for full size jigs 7/16ths - 5/8ths to pitch into wood, downed trees, the occasional dock I came across.
Great video MDJ! Is pitching your favorite technique? I'm still working on the silent entry thing, and it's hard for me to pitch the bait unless it's at least a quarter ounce with a soft plastic bait/trailer.

Do you mean like lengths and actions or brands or even specific rods?
If you could only buy three rods. What 3 rods would you get. Not brands but lengths power and action but only 3 total.
7 ft medium heavy, 7'3 medium heavy, and a 7'6 heavy .
I promise you his favorite rod is the hex. That thing is the bomb
Thanks Mark, You closed the loop on some learning I needed. You're an awesome teacher too. Give us more of it...
Love these vids, I wish the best to you and the boys! Ima try to go see y’all when you come to Toledo bend

Are there any of your Signiture Series Kistler M.A.D Rods still around? Always good to see a Golden Tiger doing big things. Keep Grinding!
When you flip grass and are using braid, do you still use a florocarbon leader?

I need that shirt MDJ
For those of us that are new to flipping, what’s is one rod that would cover most scenarios to get started with?
Do you ever peg your weight, MDJ?
@8:35 ahhh I see. The gear ratio is literally too high to handle the large amount of torque that it will take to pull the fish through.
Common we need to here you opinion on what's going on, where you jw, dc, at?? Common I wanna know what's going on,
They are overseas fishing the Black Bass tournament
It would be cool to see the pros buy the cheapest gear (not named due to sponsors) and hit the lake in the cheapest boat.
I seen Mark hooksets he strong
