Been subbed since you got the Asheville Custom, the car with a great story. Love the Lady Luck too. Nice job bringing it to your standards. Watched this one having my coffee and breakfast this morning. I live in the mountains too, Hillsboro, WV. Love the old cars from my youth. I’m 78. We have a few car shows here in the summer. Anyone that has seen American Graffiti has to love the old Mercs.

Its car show season up here in the great white north and we are enjoying the hell out of them. Thank you for taking us along to yours. Like most shows its the cars that are the show but its the people that make it happen. I love the interaction with all the interesting characters we meet and the friendships that we make. Cheers
Looks like the show they used to have in Lancaster, Ohio for a few years in the '90s (early 2000s?) Sure do miss that show, saw some beautiful legendary cars there! And it was local for me. I think they called it KKOA Lead Sled East, but that just meant it was their eastern show, most of the cars were from out west
We Appreciate you Sir, and the Little Woman Respectively of Course & I Fully Intend to catch you Fine Folk’s on the Next One. Y’all Keep It Safe Out There Folk’s. Woof-now I'm confused. I always thought the '49-50 Mercs had the smaller oval rear window and the '51 had the larger wrap-around window. A couple of the '51s you show have the smaller window. I know it wasn't unheard of to put a different roof on the car when you were chopping it, so maybe that was what they did? Then, Lincoln had the same tail lights in '51 that the Merc had? Guess I'm thinking of the rounded rear fenders on the '49-50 that had the sunken round tail lights, like on the car you show parking at the beginning. They sure did like to swap parts around! BTW-the tail lights you show on the '51 at 4:20 are different from the '49-50s and also the '51 Mercs because they are (I think) '52 Lincoln 🙃Great video, love the cars!
I've seen guys take the slow drags super serious. Tightening drum brakes and adjusting the idle. Trick is, you have to go over that 2x4 at the end or you don't win.
If the Deuce 5 window was/is steel. Better deal than the 34 3 window shell for 43K? Right?, What? Love 49-51 Mercs, Having owned several, and a favorite of DuBseys
Absolutely amazing views thanks Pudding great video ❤

Dude. I enjoy your channel, sure learning a bunch as you talk about these cars. I got a 31 roadster myself.
The 49 Buick Custom Was a Beautiful Piece of Steel, Shiny Steel at that
Car shows are entertaining and a great place for ideas.
I reckon the '54 Pontiac grill would be my favorite but if I bought a Mercury with Desoto teeth I wouldn't change it.
That 38 fiat topalino is cool
Topolino: Italian for "little mouse", for any that don't know.
Enjoyed!!!!
I love the flames on the 51 Mercury butane

That whole area is awesome if you can avoid busy tourist season. Nantahala, Bryson City, many good times as a kid.
Like the shoe box with CRD
Never seen a '61 Corsair, wagon, before. Cool looking.....
Love a Mercury!

Maggie Valley, isn’t that Wheels Through Time territory, home of the greatest collection of vintage American motorcycles in the world ?
Yes it is.
Great video Puddin' Creek. Would RUclips not let you write it that way?
Pudding just sounds so....yankee. LOL

Puddin’, ya know I’d bet good money somebody would pay you to do audiobooks.
R u sure bout the dice😅
Hell yeah
Dubs is from the Northeast, which is Sled country. Yeah ya gotta watch, chicks do dig Kustoms ,, big time,,,,,,,,
Kustoms are for getting chicks, hot rods are for getting away from them.
That Red Car is Worth Whatever Someone is Willing to Pay, for Me not 40K.
you need to stop at wheels thru time and check out the cars they have too
Just like the cars in american graffiti show
I put an alternator that looks like a generator on my flathead.
U can't disconnect lites😂
After reading the comments and watching the show, I just don't see the point of making a comment. Everyone seems to have it covered.
It's his car do what he want the 5 windows if I had the money
Hey Puddin' what's up? That bitchin' 40 DeLuxe coupe was actually sportin' 97s, not Holley's. Don't be goin' millennial on us! Love, DuBs
Don’t want any of my comments to offend anyone. The owners built it for their pleasure and the all look good with lots of talent.
Well the 49 mercury had 50 door handles.
Well on the ford deluxe the interior looked nasty. On the next one I think you said 34 no it isn’t worth 40 K.
Don’t like floating grills.
