Hello T GARAGE, I have a question, so I own this 2020 Toyota 4Runner venture, It is garage kept for 4 years, only 7162 miles on it, so I replaced the battery and Alternator and turns on perfect, however, when I scanned it, it gave me code P2716 the solenoid shift pressure valve, I checked the wiring it is brand new, when I drive it it shifts smoothly no glitches whatsoever, I tried low high gears, i drove it in the high way with a speed of 100, nothing happened! What do you think is the cause of this code, the truck has only 7162 mile ???? THANKS
Hello, yes, there is a way. It's on the video, and as long as your 4runner displays transmission temperature data it's possible. but it is much easier with a scan tool that shows data.

Code description says to check for open, short, the solenoid, or the ECM
So the fluid draining is only excess right? So no need to put more in after it’s drained from the overfill?
Correct
So there is no way for a none techy personal owner of a 4Runner to check the level of the tranny fluid??
