.. I do a puzzle for the enjoyment and to enjoy the process...I do not care how long it takes me..... I think speed puzzling is fun to watch and I am amazed at how fast the top competitors are but I have no desire to even try to rush a puzzle.... You have so much patience when it comes to your helper Juno....wonder what she would do if you sat up an old missing pieces puzzle just for her to roll in .. she probably would not care and still want to lay on yours.. lol she adds enjoyment for us to watch.......I would rather watch her driving you nuts than you getting a puzzle done in 30 minutes.... and I dont even own a cat, we have three dogs..... enjoy your puzzles.....

Aw Juno rolling around in the puzzle pieces and messing up the parts you had finished already is such a delight to see! 😂 At the end of the day we love our cats way more than we love our puzzles, they are such great helpers! 🥰

I've never timed myself on a puzzle and have no real inclination to do so, it's supposed to be a relaxing pastime and I think timing would just make me feel anxious.

I time my puzzles just to give me a measure for difficulty.

Glad there is room in this world for the casual puzzler and the speed puzzler. (And puzzling with and without cats.😂)

    I"m with you. 😉
Personally, I like to take my time and enjoy what I'm doing while I'm doing it, and not rush through it. Enjoy the moment! 😄

Juno taking a bath sitting atop Statue of Liberty was hilarious!! Thought you did pretty good with all her antics!! Thanks to you BOTH for the entertainment.

I'm not a speed puzzler either. That takes the joy out of it for me. But, I'd loved to go Spain to meet the puzzle community, purchase puzzles and cheer for the competitors. I will be watching the Worlds livestreams for the 3rd year in a row. I even have the schedule converted to my time zone, EDT (Thank you, riikka_puzzles for creating the spreadsheet)

Love Juno and love the postcard puzzles! I know the "problem" with helping pawzzlers. As soon as I sit down by my puzzletable I have atleast one of them on top of the puzzle. Last night I helped my girl the box queen Cindy deliever 3 new baby pawzzlers! I dont think I will ever have a puzzle done without my cats! lol

Juno put a smile on my face each time she appeared :) I always have my kitty with me when I puzzle. She likes to lay in the chair next to me so I have to pull the chair as close to me as possible. Then she likes to get in my lap, making it really hard to puzzle. She even likes to get ornery and put her upper body on my arm and then sneak a paw onto the table in hopes of stealing a piece lol She's not very sneaky as she always gets caught! :) I probably would never go to Worlds either. I'm just not a fast puzzler and I'm okay with that. I like taking my time and working at my own pace.

Juno ❤ I don't even try to do a puzzle when our 2 young cats are around as they think each piece is a special toy picked out for them. Our older cat is not quite so bad but when he jumped up the other day he managed to get the edge of the board so it all tipped over. Luckily I'd only just started what ended up being a very difficult puzzle. Not sure I would had the motivation to redo it if I was a lot further along!
And like you, I will enjoy watching the world speed puzzling but would never want to do it myself.

Aww, Juno definitely likes lending a paw with your puzzling efforts. I do time myself for 500 piece puzzles but not with the intention of being super speedy. I certainly wouldn't bother to enter any jigsaw puzzle competitions. For me doing puzzles is to be enjoyed, not rushed through at top speed. I shall of course be watching Worlds and seeing who I can spot from RUclips.

Great video I’m about to embark on my first time speed puzzling and I picked this puzzle to do it with. Thanks for sharing I loved the counter in the corner of when everyone finished.

I have timed myself on three 300 piece puzzles so far and it has taken me over an hour on each one. I don't have the courage to see how long a 500 piece takes me yet lol. You did way better than I probably would have,

I have 3 cats, so I totally get it. I have to work around them when they jump on my table. I also tried speed puzzling, and I'm horrible at it. It took me 90 minutes to do a 300-piece puzzle.

When I ignore the timer during the time lapse video it *looks* like you're speed puzzling. 😉Maybe World's needs to add a category for puzzling with cats. Let's see how well all the speedy puzzlers do then!

Yeah, I'm no speed puzzler either. For one thing, I can't stand and bend over a table for more than 2 minutes before my back tells me to sit down and even then I usually have to lean on one arm to reach across the puzzle with the other, so I can't really puzzle with both hands at the same time unless it's for sorting. I love Juno, but my cats have no interest in my puzzles, for which I am grateful.

You are way faster than me. I feel like they need to have a senior division in speed puzzling. I feel like having to wear reading glasses is a serious disadvantage.

Did you see that Brighten Up Toys and Games is having a jigsaw puzzle competition in Fergus in October? Not suggesting that you go or anything.... (I'm not a speed puzzler, but may go to watch.) By the way, you did great!

I’m Ok to hear that what’s going on Spain as WJPC has bad effect on the main purpose of puzzling I mean puzzling is to be have fun to be feel Ok and have some mental training not who is going to be first finisher
