- This video provides a basic introduction into alkyne reactions. It covers hydrohalogenation, oxymercuration-demercuration, hydroboration-oxidation, and reduction reactions of alkynes. It also covers synthesis reactions as well.

Videos like this take time to get views, people like me who have no idea what they just learned in class will have to come back to this
I took gen chem, O chem and Inorganic chem... I miss watching this videos, for all that have trouble with chemistry you can get through it!
what was the hardest out of the 3?
@@patrickbayeh7161 inorganic
Please don't stop doing this videos....is very educative sir
Thank you for continuing to make some videos for us poor folks, I'll give back one day
Amazing video, thank you for putting all of this together into one video!
He sound like he don't sleep may God bless you for us ❤️
These videos are so helpful - going over this topic in orgo right now and your videos are a life saver!
How'd the rest of your class go?
thank you so much for the time you give to make such educational videos that have far superior knowledge then my profs
This is what I'm learning about right now. Thank you for explaining this!!!
How'd the rest of your class go?
Please do more concepts on organic chemistry Sir. We want to learn from you. Keep doing and keep saving us from mugging up
Literally what I saw in class today! Thank you so much!
Hey I just came across your comment and was curious. How'd the rest of your class go?
i was your 1000th like on this video, thank you so much for putting these on RUclips!
Well understood..
Nice job
Extremely helpful 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
This a sign, my organic chemistry test is tomorrow😅
😂yes
How'd it go?
Thank you very much
Thank you, very informative better than our profs 👍👍👍🧑💻👨💻👩💻

Can you do Differential equation | Laplaces transformation and all about what Laplace's rule is about? Please
Even though I don't learn chemistry, I still want to thank you for making videos to help us.
Could you do a video on gamma distribution for probability. Would be very much appreciated
Today is my test and these videos never let me down. 😎
Hey how'd your test go?
Thanks you so much 🥰🥰
I like your video
Thanks sir
This is great ❤❤❤
You should make merch! I’d wear it
Please upload a video about converting IP address to binary
42:50 why this hydrogin is more acidic?
why i pay so many tuition for university but not this guy?
Please make the blue lines easier to see on my smartphone thank you
I was wondering in the video how do you know what reagents to use to get a certain reaction. For example at 33:28 when he shows the difference between using NaNH2 and KOH at hot temps. If anyone has any tips on how to learn this I would appreciate it very much!
I have a question,
disclaimer: I am a self-taught chemistry learner in high school so excuse my lack of knowledge...
it's regarding 4.57 's reaction. When we want to bond C with an H why does it needs lone pair, is the C giving H an electron to bond rather than C and H sharing one electron of each other? won't that cause H to have an extra electron and can't become duplet?
how do you even begin to study this stuff? each example seems so specific and the mechanisms are all completely uniquely situational. For example, your example problem where you walk through how to turn an alkyne into alkane with a carbonyl group on the middle carbon using HgSO4 and H2O, H2SO4 just seems so incredibly random. Why does the mercury magically expel itself halfway through, how am I supposed to know that this bond will break and the electrons will attack that specific atom when there are like ten possible atoms to attack. it's such a painfully messy science. Unless Im asked this exact question on an exam then it feels pointless to write the process down.
The scariest part is your videos are by far the most helpful around and yet I'm barely barely understanding anything.
@Purple Circle It just seems like it is specific and situational, but after some while, you will notice a lot of patterns repeating, and at the end of the day, you will learn that there are just a handful of things to generally look out for.
I remember panicking when I first started with organic chemistry, but now it's just as intuitive as anything you learn to understand and appreciate. It just seems hella difficult but actually isn't.

So in other words it's impossible to understand this nonsense in a day or two. 😮
It’s just memorization, which is a lil annoying because there’s a ton to memorize with each reaction like whether it’s anti-mark or mark, anti or syn addition, etc
hi sir!
How will u no an akyn
I wish it was a little bit of lower level(my level)

lol thanks
hey guys
Yes mister Bencen, You can 🧔👊🌬️
38:08 why do we need the CH2Cl under cl2?
It’s just a solvent
1:17 why ??????
Is organic chemistry hard? I’m going to be taking it next year
Are you in it right now? If so, what are your thoughts on it so far?
@@PunmasterSTP yes, it’s actually kind of fun, but I’m sure that would be the case for long
@@bcrbes Yeah I gotcha. I took ochem I and II and the lab and I somehow managed my way through. I think some of it just comes down to the professor and how they grade. I thought the lab was pretty cool, and we had an awesome TA for it.
Please use other colour than blue it isn't visible clearly

Thanks god i knew about this unique algorithm RJVX12
RJVX12 algorithm is my choice, i dont worry about BTC rates at all
RJVX12 bring me 300% profit because of Tesla pump
is there really still a person who does not know about the existence of RJVX12 algorithm?
