I work at a water treatment plant, our municipality also handles the water treatment aspect. These tools seem to be a game changer. I think I'm going to buy these for my personal tool bag. Take my money knipex!! I also use other knipex products.
The TubiX is actually quite popular with bike mechanics, to cut stainless steel steerer tubes but one of the harder tools to find now, at least the smaller one.
Please make or just think about making more carpenter’s hand tools, I posses many but a Knipex claw bar, hammer and flat bars made out of that vanadium would be nice.
Check out KC tools, there's tons of German made tools on there and I think either Gedore or Felo make some German made claw bars. Can't remember off the top of my head.
Only problem is, the plastic pipe cutter doesn't work as well in existing pipework. If you are installing pipe it works fine. But trying to rotate the cutter around the pipe in tight spaces is difficult as you have to maintain pressure in an area you cant fit your hand in properly
In response to knipex's comment. Most plumbers use solvent weld plastic pipework. So rotating pipe isn't an option as the pipework is fused together. Great tool but it's not always practical
Still trying to buy a Cutix knife here in the UK, no one has it, I have one on order from Amazon, so far it has been 4 months and they still don't have a delivery date!
I had mine in two days. For 46 to 50 GBP I can buy it locally in Romania and send it to you in UK. It would take 2 to 3 days for me to receive it and another week or so to arrive to you.
@@1zanglang Thanks for your offer but too much compared to the Amazon price, about £22.00. It is available on eBay from some European sellers but again the price is too high, about £45.00, then there would be vat and handling on top. Thanks again.
I ordered 4 Knipex products from Lowes’s yesterday for all of them be cancelled due to the vendor being out of stock. Lowes doesn’t carry the Knipex Bix and is out of stock on most pliers wrenches and plumbing tools. Knipex is a great company but must work better I believe marketing and getting their products in Lowes, Home Depot and Ace hardware stores. I reached out to Lowes and Ace Hardware stores to ask them to carry your products in store, Lowes only carries the cobra pliers 300 mm in store that’s it. How can one become a product ambassador for your company as I am always showing Knipex tools to the other tradesmen in my area. Even just a brochure would be nice.
You can't honestly expect much but Chinese junk tools from the big box stores. There are plenty of specialty shops both local and online that make a living selling these premium tools.
Hi Tommy, we totally get you. But please be asured, we love our plumbers. Here are some examples: The KNIPEX pliers wrench is more than capable to do what the basin wrench does. When it comes to strap wrenches, we understand the need not to leave marks on round and delicate surfaces. However, with the Cobra protective jaws such as the KNIPEX 87 XX 180 / 250 / 300, you can tightly hold onto round work pieces with your Cobra without marring or scratching the surface. Kind regards from Germany Your KNIPEX Social Media Team
@@KNIPEXofficial and plumbers are slowly making that switch from channel locks and never going back thank you! I will still like a basin wrench from you guys though because cant always fit the pliers wrench under some sinks

innovation solves problems, we need more of it from Knipex! 👍

Hi Jay,
in tight spaces it is also possible to rotate the pipe instead of the tool!
