They have no distinct art style as it changes every other songs (even the songs that are done for and belong to restoration just look like cancelled build of vs sonic.exe). I’m pretty sure the story is just the same from the original mod except once you escape Xeno, you unlock a million songs you can play on your cd. I can also imagine some players who aren’t that familiar with sonic.exe as a whole who will need context for what’s going on or who they are playing against, so if they see some random ass sonic that looks identical to another one they saw but they’re actually different, they’ll be so confused. Imo (if they haven’t done this yet), restoration should add an index to explain each character you have encountered (Hypnos lullaby gives a great example to how it could be executed). Idk, it just seems like all of the exe slop came together to form one mod that’s hours long.
They did all of these horror things (cant say games since Smile Dog was there) justice. Duck Season and Tattletail are classics that honestly never really seemed to get nearly as much recognition as I feel they should've so seeing the two of them portrayed so amazingly in this mod really got me amped! Then this mod has gotten me to want to play/learn about both Faith and Yume Nikki since I only ever had passing knowledge of those two before the mod. This mod will go down in FNF history as one of the greats!

[SPOILERS OF YUME NIKKI] confuse why in the start and countering your first enemy monoe in fnf, madotsuki turning into a cat attracts [monoe] attention just like in mid game considering shes hard to countern in the dark and shes only a reflection if only madotsuki is happy [monoko] the second enemy in the mod considering of her having an effect when madotsuki turn into a stop ligth is very deppressing meaning, and monoe and manoko are called [mono sisters] when they are together. [Poniko] she doesnt have any interaction consdering shes always annoyed and wants to be alone,in the real game shes is your third enemy in the mod ofc. and lastly [Uboa] he is a creepy character in the game and he is the last enemy in the mod and plot twist poniko is uboa she just transform thats all and the ending i dont want to explain.. but madotsuki is long gone on that point.. [hope you guys understand this carefully]
Personally, this is not mod of the year. The effort is amazing, and the songs are great, but I can't get behind some of these design choices( No more personally just sucks unless you play wasd, or have the ability to switch in the fly. Still great though especially when the crash bug gets fixed.
