just get an early 2000s camaro or TA. theyre pretty cheap and you can make em real fast for not a lot of money. my friend got his TA for $11k with 60k miles. after $5k in upgrades (stage 2 cam, full exhaust, ls6 intake, etc) he was running almost 11s. his best in the 1/4 was 12.04@113. i have videos of it on my channel. recently he got welds with MT streets and a stage 4 4L60

It's awesome...! The idle would undoubtedly annoy me after a short while, but maybe some butterfly exhaust valves could deal with that. The acceleration was sublime.... Very well done....

automatic camaros have a motor that is completely identical to the LS3, but has a different valvetrain. they call it the L99. makes slightly less power than the LS3 because of it. that thing clearly ain't cammed as you said. it honestly might still have stock cams that are AFM/DFM friendly. it fr prolly makes 365 to the wheels, and maybe 380 after being able to breathe better from being straight piped lmao. also i think the L99 has lower compression than the ls3 but dont quote me on that. its still virtually the same motor as the LS3. just uhh made weaker cus the automatic trans can't handle it which seems like bs.
