How to open recent apps and close apps on Apple Watch Ultra, Ultra 2 or Series 10, 9 - 4 on the new watchOS 10 update.

ios11 will probably give us the option (via iphone settings) to select Classic (ios9-style) or Modern (ios10-style) control setup.

I beg to differ I bought the Apple watch ultra last year pre-release. This is the first Apple watch I've ever owned. The way it was before I didn't like it much but the way it is now I like it a lot better. It's way easier to navigate. There are a few things it doesn't tell you like closing out the tabs and that's why I came to RUclips. But all the watch faces sit better on the watch now and more snapper than before.

It seems to me that the old-better way was probably to be simpler to save on battery and processor. Maybe they figure since we are moving away from those slower, smaller battery watches they can utilize the power to do this now.

Thank you so much for producing this. With WatchOS 10, Apple removed the separate options in the Podcasts app to listen from my watch or listen through my iPhone. Before I start a walk, I like to start the podcast before I leave, but that seems to auto-connect it to the iPhone since I probably last listened a podcast on the iPhone. The problem is that I leave my iPhone behind for most of my walks, and when I try to play the podcast on my Apple Series 6 out of range from the iPhone, it won't work. I click it, and it immediately returns back to my list of podcasts in my station list. After watching the video, I closed the podcast app, relaunched it, and voila, podcasts started playing again. Awesome.

Is anyone else having trouble with the double click function and getting the open app screen to appear? I either get Siri or get returned to the App screen. I’m running the latest software and own the SE. If I press the side button and THEN double click, it works. Thank you.

I’m uncertain what problem they were attempting to solve. Changing a pervasive and reflexive UX behavior tends to foment frustration. Even if it ultimately does some good, it has to be conveyed intuitively. Particularly if the resulting frustration is strapped on the wrist of users for the majority of their waking lives.

Anybody else noticed that when you double tap the crown it automatically goes to your previous app if you do not touch the screen and scroll through the task manager?. This whole update is just bothering the heck outta me

there is option , go back to the focussed app with 1 sec inactivity , you can switch that off and try once !
