What was majorly different about your study process/mindset when you went from a 500 to a 518? Did you use Anki or UWorld your first go around? Thank you for making this video by the way.
Of course! So the 500 was prior to any studying. I think it’s really important to not take your baseline score too seriously. It’s good to show you where you stand, but it’s not a predictor of your final score. The most important thing in my opinion is to stay consistent! I used both Anki and Uworld. I used Anki all throughout my prep, and I started incorporating UWorld about a month in.
hello amanda, thank u for sharing. I’m graduating with my bachelors this next fall semester, if i study after that to take it in may, do you think it will be possible, or should i take it later?
Hi! That’s a great question, I honestly just liked the process of making cards as it helped me engage with the material more and it helped me tailor my cards to things that I felt I was weaker on. Memm is great though, I just needed the extra reinforcement from making my own cards!
Hi ! How did you go about the AAMC bundle after your first diagnostic? Was there a specific order in which you completed the question packs or section bank?
Hi! Great question! So the first question packs I incorporated after my diagnostic were the CARS question packs and I did a few of those every morning throughout my entire prep. After about a month of content review I jumped into the question packs (like the Chem, Bio, Physics ones) first, and then moved on to the section banks. There’s no right order though, this is just what I did :)
That score is amazing! I hope I score as high as that🤞
So beautiful, so gracious, so helpful. Thank you kindly!
Thanks for your amazing video! Can you please make one about your study schedule for the MCAT. 🙏🏼
Just curious what an average day looked like between med school insiders. Anki. Uworld. And aamc. Did you do all of them each day?
