    Thank you for sharing this. Currently have a 3.18 cumulative GPA with a strong upward trend after a post bac. I contemplate whether I should have gone for a special masters program, but I have averaged a 3.8 for the last 70 units. My GPA previously was very low before my junior and senior year where I raised it. Scored a 507 MCAT with a low CARS section. Hoping the application cycle goes well.

    “It’s nice to have a couple of years where you’re not dying” 😂 so true. I’m weighing the pros and cons of taking a gap year and currently a gap year sounds nice to better prepare myself for future success!

    Getting is one thing. Completing is a different ball game.

      Most (81-84%) people who enroll will complete medical school, whereas around only 40% of med school applicants are accepted to a med school. So getting in is harder than staying in. Hope this helps!

      @@amandaparedesmedthat’s after 4 years, after six years it goes up to 96%! and even then there are people who could be pursuing additional degrees
