Great fish that Alex hope you do well at the next venue, great watching the videos. I watch Steve on his channel and he's a cracking lad, i would like to see you fish with him a bit more often. Would make great viewing if you and him hired a big campervan and fished around the British isles. Just a thought!
Well done on the Codling fella. It’s tough going at this time of year I’m just had my second straight blank for the year without even a bite so it was nice to see a few fish. Good luck on your next session bud.
@@theawfulangler South Wales area fella. Aberavon beach on the sand over low water and Newton point Porthcawl fishing the rough broken ground either side of low water. Every bait coming back untouched. Just makes me look forward to getting out next weekend and hopefully get into a few fish.
I was hoping to get over there on Friday but got struck down with a bug 😭🤢 Wednesday is looking like the best bet for a while, the way the winds are forecast.
I live 2 miles from here it can fish ok for codling but not aa many about nowadays. The dark skies up here are special sometimes you can see the northern lights 🌌 . I was over the north west last month fishing the river mersey lots if decent fish there i got 2 rays and a conger but mainly doggies
Really?? Maybe we walk the dogs at different times, But I walk my dog on there every week sometimes morning but mostly nights and it’s never really busy bar the odd time when there’s a club match on. Loads of room for my dog 😂👍 I took him there’s as I knew it would be quiet, and it was. 🤝🎣
@@davidoldboy5425 Ahh sorry mate. You know what text is like, no facial expressions 😂🤝 Been there a few times this season and iv been the only one there a canny few times, but I did go once and there were about a dozen fishing a match. I thought I was gonna be in for a belter because they knew something I didn’t, but it was the worst session iv had there 😂😂 Typical eh!!
Lovely cod Alex, helps make all that effort worthwhile 👍🎣🐟

Where are you fishing at Ritchie? Northumberland was pretty good fishing to be honest, without giving too much away.

Well done on the fish! Nice to see you fishing in my neck of the woods! Next year you should come up for the amble open!
I almost signed up for the open as well. Good job I didn't as I've had a bug all weekend, typical, never get them during work hours 😅
@@theawfulangler get some vitamin D into yourself especially during the winter.
I used to fish 200 yards left, just right of the rocks that's 300 yards out 😊
Bet you wish you'd kept the cod for the table, great video keep um coming Alex look forward to them
I only like to keep enough that I know will be eaten fresh. I'm not one for filling the freezer. And I have a whole day left fishing up there 😉

Hi Please could you tell us what your using on the rod tip. Thanks 👍👍
You mean the tip lights? I use rig shark tip lights in this video.
There are so many people fishing Cambois beach now from outside the area there isn't the space to walk your dog lol??
Sorry about that! If it makes it any better we only chose there as it was too rough for the rock marks we had in mind 😅
