Great airbrush maintenance video, just what I was looking for, just got my new iwata hp bus, can't wait to get good at it. Plus I was on the fence about the tool kit, saw the ease you used it, I'll be getting it. Thanks again

I've watched this video several times! I finally got up the nerve to strip down my airbrush (eclipse hp-bcs) but when I tried to remove the piston there was so much resistance I stopped. So, do you need a fair amount of pressure to push the piston out the first time?
    Thanks again!!

You shouldn't need a lot of pressure. You may have some paint build-up in the way. Try washing it out with a little thinners to see if it will loosen up a bit.

@@ScaledDownCustoms Thanks again for the quick response! I remembered I shot some primer with my .35, so I put my .5 in my airbrush, tightly held my .35 with my other hand and flushed it out with lacquer thinner, and it worked!! Thanks again.

I lightly polish my airbrush needles with 3M sanding foam 3,000 grit/grade every so often if I see paint residue
